*Carrie's POV*

As usual, I was in the middle of one of Dad and Dorit's non-stop arguements. But this time it was about something other than my mother. This time it was about Deb, my dad's new girlfriend. How did they get together many people ask. Well I'm gonna give you the bittersweet version. It happened one beautiful day when I was in my house. I had heard the doorbell ring so I answered it. Well after that moment I had wished I pretended not to be home, because what I heard was way to painful to remember. My ex-bestfriend, Maggie had came over and told me that she had kissed Sebastian, my current ex. After that I decided to live with Walt in my boss Larissa's loft for the Summer. You see after Maggie gave me that piece of information, I decided that I couldn't trust her. So I told dad that he could go ahead and start dating. If I couldn't be happy he deserved to be. And then I zoomed out of my daydream when Dorit and Dad turned to me. "Carrie, is it true you said that Dad could start dating?" I nodded and scowl was plastered on her face. "Carrie how could you. I mean I know that one day we are going to have to get over Mom, but her death was a while back. And I know that this whole encounter on Maggie and Sebas-" "DON'T YOU DARE BRING THEM INTO THIS! I THINK THAT DAD DESERVES TO BE HAPPY! I MEAN DORIT YOU ARE SO SELF ABSORBED THAT YOU CAN'T SEE ANYONE BUT YOURSELF. YOU COMPLAIN AND COMPLAIN BUT YOU NEVER CARE ABOUT HOW OTHERS FEEL!" And with that I walked upstairs ran to my room locked the door and cried. I cried untill I couldn't cry anymore. It just had to happen. Because it just does.
