Disclaimer: Unfortunately, I do not own Inuyasha.
Prologue
Darkness filled the room, the only light source coming from the glowing mirror against the far wall. The demon enchantress smiled in her mirror as she watched scene before her play out. Two arguing younglings near an old well, taking turns screaming at each other to see who could deal the most damage. How she enjoyed the misery in the woman's eyes only partially hidden by the anger. The man said something; what, she couldn't be certain but it had to have been truly devastating.
She watched the woman's anger fade instantly and the hurt spill forth from the woman's eyes in the form of tears. The man realized he had gone too far, said something very wrong indeed and took a step toward the woman. She stepped back, eyes pinned to his repenting ones. She replied something short and pain filled then turned and ran, grabbing a strange yellow bag before jumping into the well. There was a flash of aura and the man stood there silently, pain etched onto his face.
The enchantress smiled wickedly as the scene faded. Oh yes, she could use this misery to her advantage. She would just have to align all the pieces and use a little of her magic to get things moving. She picked up her tainted piece of the Shikon Jewel and laughed at the darkness around her.
AN: So, I'm kind of rusty and have only a general idea of where this story is even going. Please be patient with me and I will try my best to keep going. Also, constructive criticism is appreciated. For example: just telling me the story sucks does not help; I need to know why it sucks.
