Notes: Just went to see the movie in question. Laughed my tuckus off. Seriously, it's missing, I looked all over the theater for it...

Disclaimer: Oh, if only I owned it...

DINNER AND A MOVIE

By screaminheathen69

Sam loved the man, honest she did. But there were times...

Like now, for instance. "Dinner and a movie," he'd said.

"Sounds good," she'd replied. So she'd gotten herself all dolled up (not that she'd ever admit to doing anything like dolling herself up), Jack had picked her up, roses in hand, and off they went. They had a lovely meal at a quiet little restaurant. When she asked which movie they were going to, he just smiled and said "It's a surprise".

She should've known. I mean, even with as oblivious as she tended to be while locked up in her lab, she had still seen the ads.

But amazingly enough, she was still surprised when upon arriving at the theater he proceeded to buy tickets for 'The Simpsons Movie'.

She actually muttered "D'oh!" under her breath. It then occurred to her that, him being the man she loved or not, she might just be spending way too much time around him.

One and a half hours later, as she was walking out of the theater leaning against Jack because she was still out of breath from all the laughing she had done, she had to admit that she enjoyed herself. And the rest of the night...

Well, the rest of the night probably would've gotten an X rating, and this being a family show, we'll just skip over that part. (Feel free to let your imagination go wild, though. It's fun!)

So, you're probably wondering, if everything went so swimmingly, then what's with the not-so-happiness now?

Well, it might have something to do with the wee little fact that in the two weeks since going to the movie, Jack has either been humming or singing 'Spider-Pig' more or less non-stop. And Sam was well and truly on her last good nerve.

I swear, if he walks through here singing that damn song just one more time...

"...Spider-Pig, Spider-Pig, does whatever a Spider-Pig does..."

AAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!
