Basco, Batanes, Philippines, Mt. Iraya
PHIVOLCS Data Gathering
A team of seismologist is gathering data for their research of the geological origin of the Philippines. "Dr. Gonzales, we are finding strange data inside Mt. Iraya". Dr. Gonzales stopped typing on his mini laptop and looked on the data the scientists gathered. "What is this??" he took the laptop and stared at it. "Doctor are you okay?" asked one of the scientists. "I can't believe it, the magma readings are strange, it seems… No it can't be… We must…." But before Dr. Gonzales is about to say something, the team was shaken with a terrible earthquake. "Dr. Gonzales, we must go now quickly!!" The scientists run for their lives, as they run one of the scientists dropped the laptop containing the strange data they've gathered. "No!! The data!!" shouted the shocked doctor. He ran for the laptop, and when he is about to grab the laptop, the ground opened and the doctor fell. "Doctor!!"
"Forget about the doctor, he's gone!"
"Let's go now! Everyone to the boat! Hurry"
When everyone got inside the boat, something caught all their attention…
"Mt. Iraya has erupted…." said the scientist. Everyone was stunned at the scene.
News Report: I am Tony Garcia of BSA Patrol, this has just come up, Mt. Iraya has erupted a few minutes ago. As for the research team of PHIVOLCS one is dead, and five are injured. After the eruption a series of earthquakes shocked the town of Basco, Batanes near the volcano…
"Have you phoned them already?"
"Yes, Sir they are okay, but Dr. Gonzales…"
"Yes doctor, we have lost a good scientist"
"Sir the scientists said they have uncovered a very strange data when they are researching at Mt. Iraya minutes before the eruption."
"Where is this data you are telling?"
"I'm sorry Sir but it's gone together with Dr. Gonzales, The survivors said that Dr. Gonzales is trying to grab the data when the ground opened and swallowed him down..."
"What ever it is… It's an important data that caused the doctor's death…"
Philippine Seismic Research Facility
A scientist named Dr. Robles is arguing with his colleagues. He is trying to prove that there is something wrong on the magma readings underneath the Philippines.
"Please don't waste our time doctor; there are more important things than this unbelievable data of yours…"
"But please sir! "
"Enough! You are still young in this field, in fact you are a newly graduate student, and how could you gathered and proved this data without any help?"
"But..."
"One more and I will suspend your research on the field…"
Dr. Robles left the room failed; he went to his car and drove to his apartment. When he arrived he quickly checked his email. And to his surprise he received an email containing a shocking word…
"The Philippines is going to sink and will we split to pieces… If you don't believe go to the Luneta Park near UN Ave Station today at 4:30 pm"
Dr. Robles scratched his head an said "Who the hell will send this joke"
Then another email has arrived. This time he was stunned, the email contained a part of the data that was lost in Bataan five hours ago…
