"You are no longer allowed to see Kyle Broflovski."
Those were the words that the seventeen year old boy had to hear from his father. Such demand, frustration, and shame from Randy when he had found out his boy was dating his childhood friend; Kyle.
Out of all the things you could take away from Stan, Kyle certainly was not one of them. Not only was Kyle a love interest, he was the best damn friend Stan had ever met. He thought his father would see this above all before automatically making a harsh demand. Now, his mother on the other hand, actually welcomed the idea.
Sharon didn't mind that the two friends ended up dating; she always liked Kyle over 'that Wendy girl'. Kyle treated Stan good, fair, and you could definitely see the adoration in his eyes towards Stan. Frankly, that's the only thing that mattered in her eyes; her son ending up with someone who genuinely loved him.
Although the two conflicting opinions were on the table from both parents, it really didn't matter to Stan. Regardless of anyone or anything, Stan would still see Kyle. The two were simply committed and devoted even at such a young age, they were loyal as well.
Stan had dumped Wendy on his fifteenth birthday. They were always spatting and picking fights against each other and Stan just got tired of it; Kyle did too to say the least. Puppy love surely did not last forever, after all. Plus, not only did Kyle hate the bitch; the rest of the group did too.
Kyle never really ended up with anyone even with offers up for grabs, a lot of attractive females stepped up to the plate and shockingly, a few males did, too. But Kyle always denied and declined.
Kenny and Cartman always wondered why he would turn down the babes in South Park High.
The redhead just enjoyed the company of friends and never really considered dating. Also studying and grades constantly stood in his way; not to mention his family.
That was, until a spark of interest for Stan struck him dead on in the middle of nowhere in their senior year.
He had always noticed how good looking and charming Stan was—but Kyle never gave it a second thought. He always feared it would end up like every other relationship; a break up with harsh feelings. Like Stan and Wendy's.
Little did they both know before, they were undoubtedly "meant to be". Like some cheesy twenty dollar knock off of some romance chick flick. They soon grasped that thought and made it a reality; leaving out any disagreeing opinions, even from parents and friends.
It was always rumored that if people were close friends during childhood that they would somehow realize how compatible they were together in their older years.
God, how true that was for the two high school boys.
