Minutes
Meeting Room, Royal Palace
Midday, CCCXXVIII BC

I. Meeting was called to order by King Alexander.

II. All members were present.

III. Some more than others...

IV. Minutes were read from the last meeting.

V. Cassander approved the minutes.

VI. Cleitus seconded.

VII. Parmenion asked for the floor to speak.

VIII. Oh, goody, please let this be short and to the point.

IX. It's a beautiful day outside, the sun is shining through the window and catching Hephaestion's hair. Does that man ever look bad?

X. Parmenion, something about moving the army to ________. (fill in later)

XI. Mental note to tell Alexander to have this meeting some other time of the day aside from after lunch, especially if Parmenion gets to speak.

XII. Did I just hear a snore?

XIII. Parmenion... Parmenian...um...I wonder if I'm spelling his name right.

XIV. Something about food supplies, what happened to moving the Army stuff?

XV. Boy, I hope someone is more paying more attention than I am. Most of them look like they are in various stages of trying to stay awake.

XVI. The best part of this meeting is watching Alexander trying not to watch Hephaestion.

XVII. Parmenion (I'm settling on this spelling), at least change the tone of your voice to make it a little less boring.

XVIII. Uh oh, Hephaestion started looking back at Alexander.

XIX. Alexander is not going to know if these minutes are right or not because he isn't listening either.

XX. I can't feel my legs anymore.

XXI. Alexander thanked Parmenion for his presentation.

XXII. The King will let everyone know when the next meeting is.

XXIII. Meeting adjourned.

XXIV. Meeting lasted twenty hours, at least... well, maybe ten... just seemed like twenty!

Respectfully submitted,

Personal Notes:

Find out from someone who caught any of Parmenion's speech what it was about... or at least part of it.

Ask why we have to keep adding "BC" behind the year. What does that even mean?

Remove the following lines on the revised minutes: three, eight, nine, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty, twenty-four.

Fix the following lines and make them sound like I was paying attention: ten and fourteen.

(The following official record minutes were submitted at the next meeting for approval.)
