Danny woke up and tried to lift up his arm, only to not be able to. Fear filled him, he looked around and found himself at the lab then looked down and found out he was in human form.
"Maddie it's awake." Jack's voice filled his ear, almost making him shiver with how venomous it sounded.
"Ready for another round of experiments." Maddie stated more than questioned. Remembering he was captured and down here for some time, he resigned at his fate and accepted it, not matter how much pain it brought him. They started the experiment and man did it hurt. When he first was captured he tried pleading to them and stating he was their son, all that did was make the experiments worse. The exclaimed and shouted at him at how he was nothing but a 'emotionless evil freak ghost' and how he was the reason their son was dead and what fueled their anger more was about how he tricked them, fooled them into thinking he was their son.
When they left after another gruesome experiment, he stayed in the room with the silence, suffocating him and putting him on greater edge. Hearing the door opening again, he feared for his life- Thinking they didn't give him enough torture- until he noticed it was his sister and friends. They explained about how there was a fire in the house and he could escape now. While they were freeing him they all got bruises and burns appearing on their body as the fire started spreading down into the lab and surrounding all of them. Seeing the flame getting closer to the ectofilter he started screaming at them to go before they die.
All they did thou was look him in the eye with their tear filled eyes filled with love, proudness and happiness, but the same time regret and… "Danny, you've suffered enough. You have been here for several months." Sam said smiling at him sadly, turning his head towards Tucker hoping he'd convince them to go "Sam's right dude, we've all hurt cause you were hurt and if someone deserved to leave it would be you." Tears started pouring out of his eyes "No guys, please don't die for me! You guys deserve to live more than anyone! Please don't die here setting me free!" Looking around franticly his eyes landed on his precious sister, oh so precious "Jazz! Please! Don't do this! Go and live, don't die here! I'll be a ghost and visit you guys as much as I can! Just don't die here!" Jazz looked at him sadly, but still smiling and shook her head "Danny, I'm proud of you, I've always been proud of you. I missed you over the time you've been here. I'm glad you got to be my brother, Danny."
As the fire reached the filter they all stood around him covering him, looking at him smiling and the last words he heard from them was
"We love you Danny…" Those four words filled with more love than he ever heard gave him slight happiness but greater pain. As the flames from the explosion surrounded them as they saved him.
"I love you too…" Whispered Danny into nothingness...
