Prologue

It was a stormy night, the scenery was pitch black but was illuminated by an occasional spark of lightning. The sound of footsteps splashing across the muddy puddles resonated throughout the field. "Run faster Josephine!" Came the voice of a young boy. "But my feet hurt!" The voice of a young girl answered. Lightning flashed and for a moment the two were seen; a boy about eighteen with black hair and crimson red eyes and a girl about sixteen with long red hair and emerald green eyes running as fast as their legs could."Come on Josephine, we've got to escape from them…"

"Too late little Sephiroth…" the cold, harsh voice cut in

Sebastian woke up in a pool of his own sweat. He pressed his aching head against his knees."Not this dream again…" He groaned loudly. He ran his fingers through his raven hair. He seemed to look like a patient diagnosed with hypertension. 'demons don't dream! 'he roared inwardly, his fingers pulling at the black locks of hair. He looked outside, it was a dreary 1929 London morning…

Around eight Sebastian entered his master's bedroom. His master was a young man in his twenties with military style brown hair and friendly blue eyes. "Breakfast is ready master" The demon butler announced. "Oh cut the formalities Daniel…"That was his new name 'Daniel' and he hated it.

Suddenly his head stung, like as if an anvil had fallen on pressed his palms on his pulsing head. "What's wrong Daniel?"Sebastian felt his master coming near demon suddenly felt hungry…very hungry. He stood up, his aching head forgotten and lunged for his master.

'Damn this is the third one!"Sebastian mentally screamed. He was now in some alley, far away from his master's house. He cursed and kicked a dustbin which went flying to who-knows-were. He sunk to the ground, he suddenly seemed like an older person. 'I can't believe it but I actually miss that Phantomhive brat…not him exactly I meant that time was more eventful' He started musing. Now that he thought about it, it was a long time since he'd seen those reapers as well…and him…

"What am I thinking!"Sebastian grumbled and got up" I must focus on getting a new master"

He got up and left…

Meanwhile in the Reapers realm, Grell Sutcliffe, the reaper that usually never did paper work was buried in a mound of it. Grell had changed over the past few years, his hair had become longer, it reached down till his knees. His old glasses were replaced by smaller, more stylish ones making his eyes look bigger. All together, Grell had become more attractive But there was a major behavioral change. He had become a shadow of his past, dull and sullen not like the lively old Grell.

"Grell I think you need to take a break" said a tall woman with jet black hair, tied in a ponytail. Her greenish yellow eyes were covered by thick rimmed glasses. "Victoria? No way..I've got a lot of work" Grell looked up. Victoria was William's new girlfriend, yea even him. Victoria chuckled" That's because you keep avoiding jobs involving the outside world and you steal Ron's and Will's work"."Bu..but?" Grell stuttered. Victoria patted the red heads shoulder, she was way more taller and sturdier than the petite man in front of her. "I heard about your love problems from Ronnie…and I personally think it's time you hooked up with him again". She had somehow kicked him out of the office "You're getting your ass back here till you're hooked up and heavy with a baby" She grinned and shut the door. 'I still can't believe will went bonkers over a strong woman like that' not that he hated Victoria, she was actually a very nice person. He just hated her harsh treatment.

Grell lay sprawled in his bedroom. He seemed to be deep in thought. He suddenly got up, pulled out a random bag and shoved some clothes and make up into it". After several minutes of packing the Reaper swung out of his room "Victoria's right I have a lot of things to settle…"

Bustling streets, cars, beggars and war relief, that's what he saw all around him. "Is this London?"
