Mom's decided I need to keep a journal.
Well, she said 'diary', but let's be real- I'm a guy. I am NOT keeping a diary. A journal is just as good.
Anyway, here at Mouseford, I'm supposed to write in this thing every night before I go to bed. Vanilla keeps a diary already, so Mom wasn't on her case to 'write down what you feel about what happened to you today'. Sheesh.
So, to reiterate- this is NOT a diary, and I am NOT going to be all 'omygosh he was looking at me today what do you think it means and what flavor of lip gloss am I going to wear tomorrow?' None of that. I will just be recording some manly observations.
Manly Observation #1: Vanilla is annoying. Seriously. We literally just got to the Academy today and already she's the center of attention- except for this group of five girls that call themselves the Thea Sisters. They seem to see right through Vanilla- good for them. Glad to see someone beside me has any sense in this school.
Manly Observation #2: There's this blowhard named Craig here at the Academy too. It looks like half the girls are obsessed with him for some reason. He's going to be a nuisance.
Manly Observation #3: The other half of the girls are now looking at me. I can't blame them- I'm a de Vissen and I'm simply irresistible.
Manly Observation #4: Those Thea Sisters girls aren't as enamored of me as I thought they'd be. The blond one was definitely interested, but the one with the long brown curls was not exactly looking impressed. But I'm not one to shy away from a challenge.
Manly Observation #5: I'm pretty good at math, but this equation is simple- (Vanilla doesn't like the Thea Sisters) + (one of them is pretty cool-looking and doesn't seem like a pushover) = (the perfect way to annoy Vanilla is to get in with the cool one).
But it might be hard. There's this one guy who's definitely crushing on the brown-curly one. Eh, so it adds to the challenge.
'Nilla is going to be furious- just the way I like her best. Plus, I might get a girlfriend in the bargain. Total plus. And if I take Craig down a couple of notches on the way- better still.
