Elsa lay in her bed, the frost settling on her blankets. The past week had been, well, unsettling to say the least. With the coronation and everything that come after, she was surprised that she had followed Gerda's fussing orders and returned to her royal chambers. But now, finally alone the brooding thoughts were intruding on her happiness.

Her sister was alive and well(despite her "incident"), and many of the surrounding kingdoms were returning to an amicable silence toward Arendelle. No war. No mobs with pitchforks. She woukd deal with the Southern Isles in due course, but for now, all she could think about was her control. Even now, in her isolated bedchambers she wore her gloves. And still the frost covered her. A tear threatened to fall, and then, when it finally did, it froze on her cheek.

As the queen reached her hand up to wipe away the little ice drop she froze herself. *knock knock knocknocknock* Unmistakably, the princess of Arendelle was on the other side of the door. As it creaked open the redhead's smiling face peered around. Anna's smile fell as she saw her sister's face. Immediately she stumbled to the bed, under the covers and snuggled close to her pale sibling. The frost was shifted, but still there.

Anna murmured in her gentlest voice. "Elsa...do you-uhm...do you wanna build a snowman?" The request brought Elsa to giggles. It was so childish, and then tears fell, happy tears. Tears shed for the memory of nights that the two had spent in the play room, unashamed of the magic that Elsa brought to the world.

Elsa removed her gloves with careful grace, and cupped them over the blankets between them. Flakes of snow fluttered from her hands and when she pulled them away, a miniature snowman sculpted from ice and snow. Elsa picked it up and placed it on the bedside table. With that Anna wrapped herself around her sister with newfound wonder and fervor. But Elsa pushed her away, snorting and giggling in a most undignified manner.

Anna was a little afronted."what?" Elsa looked almost confused. No, more like she was trying to hide what had happened. "I-i'm ticklish..." at the stuttered reply, the young princess's eyes lit up. "Oh really, now?" The lack of human contact had meant little things like ticklishness were overlooked for Elsa. But now she looked terrified. "Anna...Anna, no. Don't do it, please, Anna" the pleading queen had no hold over her sister's conspiritorial expression and the redhead lunged forward again, hands grabbing for Elsa's waist.

In mere seconds the two were a muddled mess of limbs and covers, the icy snowman fell as the bed shook under the two royal sisters. It had been far too long since they had shared a moment like this. But for now, the kingdom was safe, they were together. And finally, all seemed right.
