"Ronnie," Josie whispered, leaning back from the girl's eager lips, "just because we have on masks, doesn't mean no one can recognize us."
"Will you relax, babe?" Veronica laughed breathy, pulling her closer to her. "Everyone here is wasted. Even if someone does see, it's not like they'll remember tomorrow."
She said it so confidently, it almost made Josie give in to the oh so tempting lips diving in for hers again. Almost. She pulled back exasperated. "Are you willing to take that chance?"
The dark haired vixen stared at her, before her gaze ventured back down to her lips, then over the exposing witch costume her girl was wearing. "Tonight? Yes." She husked, grabbing Josie's face and smashing their lips together. She felt her trying to pull away but held on tighter, slipping her tongue out between them.
"Mm!" Josie moaned in surprise when Veronica's warm tongue slid hotly between her lips, squeezing her thighs together as a hand trailed upward. She quickly grabbed it. "Not here." She gasped as Veronica's hot tongue and lips landed against her neck, placing feverish kisses all over.
"Why not." She murmured, twisting her hand out of the other girl's grasp to continue its path. "You want it."
"Yeah." Josie breathed out in admittance. "But not here," She said firmly, halting the wandering hand once again, frantically looking around to see if anyone was paying attention to them. They weren't. She sighed in relief, turning back to see Veronica's lust filled eyes boring into her.
"Then lets go somewhere else."
"We're drunk, baby. We can't drive."
"I meant somewhere else in this house." She looked around the basement, looking for an idea.
"This place is packed. Kevin invited practically the whole school."
Suddenly Veronica's eyes sparkled, as a wicked idea came to her. She pulled the girl up to her feet. "I know just the place."
"V, I'm not making out in a bathroom-
"It's not a bathroom." She reassured her, tugging on her hand. "Come on. Trust me." She added softly, biting her lip.
"I hate when you do that." Josie groaned, leaving her drink forgotten on the coffee table as she allowed herself to be pulled away. Veronica sent her a quick wink before navigating them through the sea of sloppy drunk teens. They almost claimed victory of being undeterred in their quest for the basement stairs, until a redhead placed herself firmly in their path, eying them suspiciously, clearly not as drunk as everyone else.
Shit.
Veronica's grip on her hand tightened as they approached Cheryl, who's demeanor made it clear they were not to pass her without acknowledgment.
"Pray tell, just where you are taking my best friend, Veronica?" She smiled fakely with furrowed brows as if she was trying to figure the two out.
Rolling her eyes in frustration, Veronica tried to side step her. "We're going to get some air."
Cheryl raised a brow, stepping back in front of them. "You do know, there's a window right over there."
"I want to use the ones upstairs."
"Why?"
"Why do you care? Isn't there some mean girl scheming you should be doing with your minions elsewhere?"
Cheryl eyes narrowed as she crossed her arms. "No. I'm fine right here. Shouldn't you be off writing letters to your imprisoned father?" Veronica clenched her teeth.
"Cheryl, can you ease up?" Josie snapped.
"No, Josie. Not until Veronica tells me-" She stopped when Josie suddenly stepped to her, whispering harshly into her ear. When she pulled back, Veronica was surprised to see her begin to walk away, well, not without a death glare whirled in her direction. She whipped her head to Josie.
"Okay, how did you do that and can you teach me?"
The curly head girl giggled before pushing at her. "Aren't you supposed to be taking us somewhere? Hurry, before someone else pops up." That was all Veronica needed to hear before quickly pulling them up the stairs and into the house.
"So what's Cheryl's obsession with you?"
"She thinks you're gunning for her position." Josie said nonchalantly while trying to figure out where this so called place Veronica was taking them.
"Her position?"
"As my best friend. She gets a little possessive."
"Hmm…"
"What?"
Veronica smirked as she intertwined their fingers, pushing Josie against the hallway wall. "That must be your type." She husked before leaning into to her. Josie jerked back with wide eyes.
"Nuh uh girl. If this is the place, then you should take me back downstairs. We're going to get caught here!"
"This isn't the place, come on." She pulled them into the room to her right, turning on the light and closing the door with a lock. Josie surveyed the room, eyes enlarging. Veronica walked past her, taking a hold of her hand and pulling her to the bed.
"Wait. Is this-"
"Shhh…c'mere."
"No way, V." She broke her grip, stepping back, shaking her head. "I'm not doing this in Kevin Keller's bedroom. He has action figures on his nightstand for God's sake!"
"Trust me, this isn't my first choice and there's a whole lot worse than those action figures." She shuttered, remembering her improv sleepover with Kevin and him showing her all of his "collections". "But this is all we've got." She got up and swayed her hips as she approached her with a sexy smirk and grasped her hands again. She pulled them until they fell backwards onto the bed with Josie on top.
"You're something else." The Pussycat breathed, shaking her head as a hand trailed up her thigh.
A gasp spurred past her lips when that hand cupped her center through the thin material of her costume.
"Happy Halloween, baby." Veronica whispered cheekily, before leaning up to capture her lips.
