"I said, no!"
Futuba is being asked by Akechi to cosplay as a character from iDeath Note/i, and that is L. The reason he's asking her to do is because he saw her as reminder to the character. They're geniuses, their sitting position, and most importantly, being anonymous.
"But why not?" Akechi pouted.
"Because he's a guy, and I'm a girl!" Futaba exclaimed the obvious.
"It's only for the day."
"I'm sorry, Akechi, but the answer is no."
She makes it final, indeed. Anticipating this, he pulls out a coin with a string attached to it.
"What is this?" she asked with a surprised expression on her face.
"Just something to help you agree to this cosplay," he smirked.
In fact, he's hypnotizing her. With a smirk coming from her, he has her under his spell.
The next day, the Phantom Thieves are planning a meeting at Akira's place when they saw Futaba dressed in a black spiky-haired wig, baggy white shirt and blue jeans. On the top of that, she's barefooted. Not to mention her eyes went into a makeup that looked like she hasn't slept all day, and she looks emotionless. At least she still has her glasses on.
"What the hell?!" Ryuji asked in surprise. He's just as surprised as the others are.
"Not 'what', 'who'," the hypnotized Futaba stands up from her usual sitting position. "I'm L, but call me Ryuzaki if you want."
"Akechi, what did you do to her?" Akira asked the detective.
"Let's just call this as cosplay for the day," was the response. "Don't worry, she'll be back to normal tomorrow," he reassured him and the group of what's happening to their friend.
"At least that can't be bad..."
Author's Note: My first time sending a fanfiction story that took place in Persona 5, so try not to send me negative reviews about it. You could say this is my first fanfiction that involves with hypnosis. Anyway, the character Futaba's cosplaying as, it makes sense. Think about it; her being a genius, her odd sitting position, and not to mention being anonymous. That sounds like L from Death Note. The difference is that Futaba is more emotional than L, and she wears shoes unlike him who doesn't show much emotion and is mostly on barefoot only wearing shoes when going outside.
