Authors note: Chapters come at demand, and this is a love story by the way.. he does meet Alice. If you would like the story before to be written (there isn't actually one but I could make it) just ask and I will work on it….

Art Thou Alice

Time seems to trudge by when you're confused. I knew the horse and carriage was charging at full speed but it felt like it wasn't moving at all. The orphanage was only 10 minutes away luckily so I didn't have to wait too long. My room will be already set up. Though, I am sharing with the most elegant little girl named Alice I still feel it rude to intrude her sanctuary. Oh how I long to be at home with dearest uncle Victor and Rover. Poor Rover. He was my dog, a Labrador pedigree I believe. He was old I must grant, but still, to perish in a fire with Uncle Victor need not of been pleasant for him. Then the soothing sound of horse hoofs hitting the floor stopped. I turned my head to see Alice peering in the window… I had never seen her face to face before. She smiled when I looked up and open the carriage door for me.

"There is no need for you to do that," I said " A woman should not labour herself"

She looked up at me confused and shrugged. I was shocked, what manners does this place teach, whatever they may be they must be appalling!

"Hurry up Jasper, Cooks making tea!" She shouted running into the large building. I was about to correct her but then realised how rude it was to correct a stranger. Alice's personality was so… uplifting. I liked it
