"Yuuukiii, darling!" came the sickly sweet and bubbly voice of Shindou Shuichi. Yuki, who was at the moment working on his latest novel in his study, pointedly continued to gaze at the lap top screen and ignore the annoying pink-headed baka (who'd just attached himself to Yuki's neck). "Yuki, I have something for you!" Shuichi attempted to croon while he rubbed his cheek up and down the left side of Yuki's head.

"…" Yuki still plucked away at the keys of his lap top, staring undisturbed at the screen. A little put out at the lack of a response he was getting, Shuichi ceased the head rubbing and dropped a slip of paper in front of Yuki on top of his keyboard. The small action caused Yuki to finally break off from writing to look down at the paper atop his hands. His eyes flickering downward, the only part of him he chose to move. Yuki spied, in Shuichi's shaky penmanship,

"25, 000, 000 yen Made payable to one Yuki Eiri by Shindou Shuichi -Lover and common-law wife –not that Yuki will ever admit it. How sad is that?! He's my lover and he won't- won't even… I want a divorce!!" Yuki made a perfect arch of his left eyebrow.

"What's this suppose to be?"

"Your money." Silence.

"For?"

"Telling me you love me." Shuichi replied simply with a look of smug satisfaction on his face.

"Really now." Yuki said sarcastically. However the bite of the remark was lost on Shuichi's simple mind.

"Yup! That's enough for you to tell me you love me once in the morning during breakfast, once during dinner, once before going to bed, once during sex and once for when ever I want."

"...Are you trying to insult my intelligence?" Shuichi was at a bit of a loss at Yuki completely ignoring what he's just said.

"Wha...? No! What would make you think I was trying to do that?!"

"You really think you can buy me off with a fake check? …A shitty fake check at that." Shuichi's face fell. His lower lip stuck out from beneath his upper one, quivering slightly with over whelming emotion.

"What gave it away?" Shuichi whimpered.

"Besides that fact that all it is, is a bunch of poorly penned words on a piece of paper a first grader could've done a better of cutting?" Yuki said coolly, returning his attention to his novel. Shuichi's lower lip began to quiver even more so than before as his eyes became large and watery.

"So you don't want my check?"

"Nope." came Yuki's casual, distracted reply.

"Aa- and you don't want to tell me you love me?"

"Nope."

"I- I HATE YOU YUKI! WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Shuichi exclaimed as he bolted out of the room, tears spurting from his eyes. As Yuki listened to the pop star's retreating foot steps he pushed away from his desk and pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to fight off the impending headache that was forming behind his eyes.

"Baka, and what makes this time any different from all the others?" Yuki said, letting out loud in an exasperated sigh. Easing himself out of his chair, Yuki made his way upstairs to console his poor wailing idiot.

Author's Note: skweep, new one-shot: my idea of Shuichi trying to buy off Yuki after he tells Shuichi that he'd say 'I love you' for 5 000 000 yen in the manga - possible continuation if i can convince my darling jacki and or saraah to help me out with it. x)

hope y'all liked it. -love-
