ok this is a puzzleshipping one-shot a song fic. it's my first time doing a song fic but i think you might like it, it's been in my head for a while now.

Yugi's P.O.V.
'Just a small town girl
Livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin anywhere'
I remember it like it was yesterday. The cerimonial duel between me and my Mou- no Atem.

'Just a city boy
Born and raised in south Detroit
He took the midnight train goin anywhere'
"Well done Aibou" Atem said.
Once Yugi realized that he won he got onto his knees and started crying. During the time Yugi had spent with Atem he started to have feelings for his yami.
The door to the afterlife was begining to open and Atem was saying one last thing to his aibou.
"Aibou I want you to listen to me for a sec ok" Atem said gently.
Yugi raised his head up with tears still in his eyes.
"I promise that I will do everything I can to return to you I just need you to wait for me until then" Atem said.
Yugi wiped the tears out of his eyes and did the best he could to keep more tears from falling.
"I will always wait for you Atem" Yugi said doing his best to smile.
"Thank you Aibou" Atem said and he kissed Yugi one last time before heading to the door that would seprate the two.

It's been 3 years since that happen and so far he had not return. I'm now starting to think he would never return.

Normal P.O.V.
Not far away from the game shop a familar person who looked to be about 18 was headed in Yugi's direction.
'I wonder if he still remember the promise we made all that long ago and how much I still love him' he thought.
'Some will win some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh the movie never ends
it goes on and on and on and on'
Yugi was listening to the raideo with the song journey being played and it's been bringing some good and sad memories of him and Atem of everything they've been through together.

Yugi was so dazed into the music he didn't here the door to the shop open or someone coming from behind him but once he heared a familiar voice talking to him saying "It's been a long time Aibou I really missed you." he turned around and saw none other than Atem. He felt the tears in his eyes again but they were tears of happiness as he stared into the crimson eyes he had missed so much.
"ATEM" Yugi exclaimed and hugged him tightly.
"I can't believe it's really you" Yugi cried.
"It is me I told you I would find a way to return to you" Atem said happily and hugged Yugi tightly has well.
The two went up in Yugi's room to have some private moments alone just being happy on finally being reunited.
