SoRiku - Don't Lose Hope:
Author's Note: This is another SoRiku one shot that I have written. It was written for my friend Alex as a cheer up present. I hope you all like it. ^^
Hopeless. That was the word going through Riku's head at the moment. Everything just seemed hopeless right now. He felt himself slipping into the darkness again. He sighed. Fighting the darkness was a lot easier with Sora around. But that happy-go-lucky-brunette was out on some journey again. 'I hope we can at least cross paths on our two separate journeys by coincidence,' Riku thought to himself.
Xehanort's heartless was laughing at the fact that he had Riku in his clutches again. "At long last you are mine! Soon your heart will give in to the darkness once more. Say goodbye to the light!" he said with a smirk.
Riku then sighed as he looked down. "I guess it's all over. I was never meant to truly be a keyblade master. It was only a matter of time before I gave in to darkness once more," he said in a sad tone.
Suddenly, Sora came rushing by as he noticed Riku was struggling. "Riku! Don't give up! I believe in you! Fight the darkness! I know you can beat it!" he said in an encouraging tone.
Riku was surprised as he looked at Sora. "Sora? How did you find me at the right moment of time?" he asked in a surprised tone.
Sora put his hands behind his head and chuckled. "Silly Riku. You should know by now that my heart leads me to my friends when they are in trouble. You look like you are in trouble now. So therefore, my heart was lead to you. But please Riku...Don't give in to the darkness. You are a Keyblade Master for a reason. You have the power to conquer the darkness! I believe in you Riku!" Sora pleaded to him.
Riku's eyes widened. Sora did have a point. If he didn't have the ability to overcome the darkness, then Master Yen Sid would not have named him Master Riku. Instead Sora would've been named Master. But instead it was him. So he closed his eyes to focus on channeling out all of the darkness of his heart. When he opened them, they were filled with determination. When Xehanort's Heartless saw this, he was very surprised. "What? No! I almost had him!" he shouted out loud as he disappeared into a dark portal.
Riku then stood up as he continued to battle the darkness in his heart. He felt a bit stronger now that Xehanort's Heartless left. But he still was barely hanging on. Sora noticed this and ran to Riku's side. He then grabbed Riku's hand. "Riku...please stay strong. I need you...I love you damn it! I won't lose you to the darkness again!" he said as he held on to Riku's hand tight.
Riku then looked into those cerulean eyes that he always adored. Sora loved him? He couldn't help but to smile. Sora's love for him was that little bit of extra power he needed in order to beat the darkness inside of him. He pulled Sora close to him and kissed him on the lips. "Thanks Sora. I love you too. You really came through for me when I needed you the most today."
Sora smiled into the kiss and pulled away eventually. "Anytime Riku. Anything for you. I will always love you, just remember that."
