"Wanderer"
Sometimes you find yourself lost,
Looking up at the world,
Which is looking around you,
You try to search, for yourself,
But finding nothing, worth anything.
You try to see who you are through others eyes,
But only seeing emptiness, nothing but a dark shadow,
Trying to find someone who knows you,
But only finding some who dislikes you,
Feeling dizzy from searching,
But never giving in, to others desires.
Feeling pressured to be someone your not,
Losing yourself to others thoughts,
Trying to seach for your own,
But can't seem to push theirs out.
Wishing you could just disappear,
But having no strength to leave,
Trying to help others, but never trying to help yourself.
You again find yourself fighting to stay,
But still seeming to be lost.
Feeling helpless and unsure,
But not willing to give up,
Fears surrounds you, but grace is within you
Shadows and darkness controls you,
But light is entrusted in you.
Feelings of despair and sadness,
But hope and happiness soon surrounds you,
Bringing you back to me.
