Brooke's POV

I think I always knew it was going to happen. At some point, I was going to have to return to Tree Hill, whether I wanted to or not. My older sister Sarah Davis had taken me out of our Podunk North Carolina town when I was 14 and a freshman in high school, Sarah had been 18 and a college sophomore herself. But she was willing to get a two bedroom apartment and raise me so I could live my dream, all while going to school herself.

I was a dancer. Okay, not just a dancer. I was the BEST dancer. But I needed to get better. I had auditioned in the fall of my 8th grade year for the Las Angeles School of Performing Arts. My mom didn't want me to go, she and Sarah had been fighting about the fact that Sarah encouraged me to go. So the summer before my freshman year of high school when Sarah flew home with legal guardianship papers saying that this is what was best for me and my mom was holding me back, mom and Sarah fought even more. They fought for a month before Sarah told our mother that in the end she was being bitter and just holding me back and slowly killing me. Sarah told her that if she didn't sign the papers I would end up resenting her one day and would never be able to forgive her. The next day after many promises my mom signed the papers and we were on our way to LA. Sarah and My mom's relationship was never the same after that day.

My mom and I still talk once a week, but we won't ever be as close as our mom and Haley, our baby sister. Haley was 13 when I left to go and live with Sarah. Haley comes to LA for Christmas every year and three days during Spring Break. You can tell that its because mom forces her, but we never say it. At one point the three of us were as thick as thieves. We were beyond sisters, best friends, we were each others first lines of defense. But now, now Haley is practically a stranger and Sarah is my everything, I don't know my mom anymore, and Tree Hill, well Tree Hill is about to be hit by the rest of the Davis Sisters.
