Ziggys Corner: My second chipmunks poem, and third Sijo. I wanted to do this one, to prove to people that Sijos do not have to be sad, as the my other poem, Silver Rain is. That being said, here is the poem. Oh, and for those of you who dont know what a Sijo is, look up my poem Silver Rain, and youll learn. This is from Jeanettes POV.
Shadows blanket everything in their heavy darkness and fear.
I stumbled for the light, my hands reaching for something to catch me,
And he catches, with a laugh, and puts my glasses to my jade eyes.
Ziggys Zone: Well, we all know shes blind as a bat without her glasses, perhaps even more than Simon is! And unlike Silver Rain, Simon is actually paying attention to her here! So see, a Sijo does not need to be sad! This was a little harder to write, but I like how it turned out.
