Tiberium: The New Dawn

Prologue: Never Forget

He always hated coming here. Reminded him of what he could have had, and ended up loss to him in the end.

But that would not stop him from coming here every year. Since the day his wife died.

He had always brought some very rare Forgotten flowers to put on her gave every year. The rare forgotten flowers were the only thing that one could say that Tiberium had changed for the better. Just something that was the mix of a regular flower, with clear see through crystal on top. The forgotten flower was as it was a rare mutation Tiberium. The flowers were not harmful to humans, and they grew of the graves of the fallen forgotten. GDI scientists were very puzzle at first with the flower, but with human DNA directly mix into Tiberium, changes were bound to happen. And in the flowers was a cure to immune humans from the effects Tiberium as it created a stop gap balance to the two as both were equal to each other. But it was only temporary as the flowers effects would only shield a person for so long, and there was very little of the flowers as it was, and those flowers were on the graves of the fallen, plus it would be years or decades before they grow more.

But things had gone from GDI being what you could call was inside hell itself, and now was better than ever. GDI now with NOD gone and for a while there had the fear of another alien invasion, GDI rebuilt itself very quickly. New breakthroughs were made to where GDI had finally gained the upper hand on the alien substance known as 'Tiberium' for once. In the many years that followed GDI was slowly removing Tiberium from the Earth it would be a long time before it's all gone. But in the end the fight for Tiberium was already over for GDI.

As the man reach the grave, that held underneath the remains' of his wife an unborn child, and place the flowers down on top of the grave already covered with the small yet very beautiful Forgotten flowers. As the flower's there presence gave a sense of life, and not death.

He love the sight, but the only thing that he hated so much, that would make him not come here, was it reminded him of what he had done to put them here. As it was his fault that, they died.

he remember that day, turning his back to Kane, as he was suppose to go through the portal and leave the Earth. He was ready to let him go to wherever it was that man was going to. The thought was the war was over he was ending it all everything between NOD and GDI right there. And Kane at the end tried to get back at him with vengeance and tired to back stab him, for him doing the same to what he did to him, back in Cairo. His wife put herself in his way. He remembers taking his blade again, and stabbing the poor great madman directly in the head this time and putting a live grenade on him as he threw him into that Scrin portal. And running away as fast as he could, with his wife in his hands on to the Kodiak just as they escape and with the Philadelphia coming crashing down on the tower, and then everything GDI had left finish it and blew that thing to hell, leaving nothing but dust and a very large crater at were the tower once stood

He kneeled down. next to the grave, and place the flowers on top, stood up said a few word's to her, as to how he was doing and stuff like that.

He took one last good look at the tombstone as the name that read on it, was…
