MY ROMANCE
Ziggys Corner: Third chipmunks poem, fourth Sijo Ive written! As I did in my second poem, Jade, I will do here, if you dont know what a Sijo is, please go to my poem, Silver Rain, and youll find out. All I will say here, is that its a Korean form of poetry. This poem, like both of my others, is from Jeanettes POV.
You ask me, what do I wish to do with my life, with my future?
Travel, and a good college along the way, toward my romance.
And my romance? Astrology, silly! Dating can wait for now.
Ziggys Zone: There you go kids! A third Sijo, and I enjoyed this one very much. Here we still have Jeanette, but unlike the first two, no Simon or any boy at all! Shes an independent girl who wants to make her career strong so she doesnt have to have a divided loyalty between Astrology, and dating, marriage, and then family. Basically shes saying that she doesnt need to have a boyfriend right now, just because its expected of her of her age, or because her other friends have one. She single and loving it!
