The blond thief was sitting at the bar when Hardison came and took the seat next to her.
"Hey Parker, what's up?" He asked, but she didn't answer. She was just staring at the Pretzels in front of her. The young thief was lost in her thoughts. She thought about herself, the team and the new feelings that she had…
She had always worked alone, lived alone before she met the others. But then they had become her family. She felt that she finally belonged to a place. That she was a part of something. She had found a "mother", a "father", a "big brother" and… What? That was the problem. What was Hardison for her? A brother? ... No, he was more. He certainly was more. She always had those fuzzy feelings when he was around, her heart was racing and her knees got weak. God! She hated those feelings. For her having feelings was being in danger, getting hurt. She always tried to protect herself by building a wall around herself, but this hacker somehow knew how to make this wall fall down. She really, really liked him. He said that he'll wait for her. That he'll be there when she's ready. But how long will he wait before he'll move on? Then it will be too late, the she'll loose him for ever… She should just jump and give it a try. It's not like she doesn't want him. To feel her hand in his… She should just take the risk and jump…
"Paaarker! Haloooooo"
"What?"
"What's wrong with you girl?" Hardison asked after Parker finally responded.
"Nothing… Just thinking" She answered.
" 'bout what?" Hardison asked. He really wanted to know what was going on in the mind of the little thief.
"Pretzels…" She simply said. When the hacker heard that his heart skipped a beat. Could it be that she finally made a choice? He hoped so, because he really wanted her. She is cute, intelligent and she is special. She surprised him everyday…
"Pretzels… And what conclusion did you get? He asked hopefully.
"That I want some Pretzels, right now!" With these words Parker got closer to him and kissed him. First he was surprised but then he just closed her eyes and kissed her back…
"Wow! More weird feelings" Parker said after catching her breath again "I like it"
"Good! Because you'll have to get used to it" Hardison said with a big grin, then pulling her closer and kissing her again.
