Germany paused before heading over the hill. It pained him to have listened to his Führur's demands. But now, after the fact, he'd been broken, corrupted. Italy had been taken prisoner of war, and Japan near death after America bombed him. A jagged scar ran down the side of his face, a painful reminder of all the people killed in the concentration camps. Heaving a sigh, he climbed his last steps up the small mound of earth. Five angry faces met his gaze, and one terrified stared at him. Wind ruffled his now long, blonde hair. Murmurs erupted from the party below him, sending glares his way.

"Speak." said the American. Germany complied.

"I ask for forgiveness... I had no part in my leader's decisi-" he was abruptly cut off.

"LIES! We all have a part in the leaders decisions." America growled, the rest of the nations behind him tensing, as if ready to attack.

"America... please, listen to him..." Italy tried to help, yet was snapped at.

"SILENCE. You came here for judgement? I pass it now. EXILE." the blonde American cried out, the rest of the Allies silencing for a moment, then erupting into cheers.

Germany's sky blue eyes grew wide. Exiled from his own country? How..? The other nations started to move toward him, rage glittering in their eyes.

"No!" Italy wailed, his cries falling upon deaf ears.

A chant began coming from the party of nations intent on driving the blue eyed nation out of his own lands.

Deception...

Disgrace...

Evil as plain as the scar on his face.

"Deception! An outrage!" England added.

"Disgrace! For shame!" China spat, intentionally leaving out his customary 'aru' to show he was as serious as the rest of the nations.

"He asked for trouble the moment he came." Russia said, a malevolent grin on his face.

Germany began backing up, fear glittering in his eyes, a pain tightening in his chest. Italy's wails grew louder, but were promptly ignored.

Deception...

An outrage!

He can't change his stripes...

The German countinued backing up, ready to turn tail and run. His already battered body couldn't take another beating if things got ugly.

Disgrace...

For shame!

You know these outsider types!

He asked for trouble the moment he came...

See you later, agitator!

At that point, the angry nations had nearly cornered the German, yet they were intent on berating him while his exile took place.

Deception...

An outrage!

Just leave us alone!

Disgrace...

For shame!

Traitor, go back with your own!

He asked for trouble the moment he came...

See you later, agitator!

Germany had finally had enough. He spun around and ran, tears pricking at his eyes.

Born in grief

Raised in hate

Helpless to defy his fate.

Let him run,

Let him live,

But do not forget what we cannot forgive!

A stone slipped from beneath Germany's footing, causing him to fall into a creek. The chanting nations continued to come forward.

And he is not one of us.

He has never been one of us

He is not part of us,

Not our kind!

Scrabbling to get up, the long-haired nation caught a glimpse of his face. The face of his father, the barbarian who destroyed the Roman Empire, Germania. Rage and anguish welled in his veins.

Someone once lied to us,

Now we're not so blind!

For we knew he would do what he's done

And we know that he'll never be one of us...

"He is not one of us..." America ground out, rage blinding him.

"Deception..."

"Disgrace..." England said, not looking away from the writing nation in front of them.

"Deception..."

"Disgrace..."

Deception...
