Prologue
Hold it together, birds of a feather...
Valerie Gray felt frozen. So freezing cold as her body stiffened.
Emerald eyes were looking, glinting, glistening -
(doesntmeanshesseeinganything).
Stupid heart was beating. It was almost begging to stop -
(fasterfasterfaster--STOP!).
Dark face was paling -
(sodeadpale,toodeadpale).
And she couldn't take it. She couldn't take standing up.
Her body hit the cold floor the second it could. Dark flesh burned. And she could feel herself. Her mind blurring every vision in front of her. Face to face, so close, so far away- she didn't what to do or where she was anymore. Everything was so confusing to the female as she felt a cold touch and that touch was the only life she could feel until now. Rough touch. Cold touch. His touch.
Jeffie's face enlightened. "So Valerie Gray...where's our little friend?"
Funny. Jeffie didn't have any friends. He didn't want them. He wanted destruction. His destruction.
"Hmm?" she laughed. Insanely.
Like she didn't know what a friend was.
She didn't at that moment. All she knew was that she could see Jeffie's hand press against her arm, pinning her to the floor. All she knew was that Jeffie's death scent was the only thing that willingly went into her mind. All she knew was that she felt like dying an second but wasn't.
Jeffie only smirked and leaned down closer to the girl's face. Her emerald eyes glinted. "Friend?" Valerie repeated.
He blinked as her laughs turned into giggles and soft chuckles that were barely heard. But Jeffie could hear him. He could've heard her heart accelerating in her chest as he leaned down towards her face. Jeffie didn't say anything else. He let his hand slip down his pocket to pull out a purple-jeweled necklace. He let the necklace slip on her neck. His fingers could feel her almost run away from his touch. So cold... "Remember who gave you this?" she shook her head.
"Danny Phantom. Remember, Danny Phantom..."
His voice slipped like silk.
She slowly nodded her head. Slowly, so slowly, too slowly. "Danny Phantom...Remember, Danny Phantom..." his voice evaporated into his mind. She couldn't remember anything but those words and a deadly scent.
The purple jewel turned into a bright emerald green one.
And then...
Black.
Just to add a little suspense. I'll make another chapter soon. ;D I love you all if you'd review.
Next chapters will get longer hopefully.
