When love becomes too hard to handle.

Maxwell's POV

Maxwell's thoughts, "I'm way too insensitive to her feelings, I don't understand how she loves me. If I was in her place, I would've left already. How can she stand me, when I'm this way towards her?" he watches Fran walk into the office, as the sight of her knocks him back into reality.

Fran walks into the office and walks over to Max's desk, getting up into her usual position and looks at him, with a bright and bubbly smile on her face. Which in turn makes him sink down into his chair, wondering how she could be so happy, when he's not even happy with himself.

Fran; "Max, what's the matta?" she asks, while watching him, seeing that he's looking a little sad at her.

Max; "Fran, how do you love me, when I'm so insensitive and heartless? How can you need me, and still want me, when I don't deserve you for what you're worth?" he asks.

Fran looks at him with a blank look, slightly frowning.

He's not yours, back off.

Fran's POV

Fran thinks to herself, "I wish and hope to God that I could bash CC's head in, for wanting Max, when he'll never love her the way he loves me. He's not hers, and he doesn't love you. He has no chains binded to him, he's free and he still chooses me." she stands up, a little proud of her bold thoughts, walking out of the living room and goes into the office, to give her piece of mind to CC about Max.

Fran opens the door and marches into the office, pointing at Max, giving him the signal to leave her and CC alone for a few minutes, she smiled innocently at him.

Max walks out of the office, giving Fran and CC their time.

Fran instantly turns to CC as soon as Max walks out, she slams the door and stares at CC; "Look, Babcock, Max is MINE. He doesn't love you. Just because he's here when you are, doesn't mean he's free game. Got it? You may be all flirty and everything, but has he ever turned his head at you in the way he does to me, NO. So back off, got it?" she says, scoffing, angerily.

CC looks at Fran in astonishment, not even knowing what exactly what to say to what Fran just said to her.
