SUPER ULTRA BLAH BLAH BLAH: Ello guys! This is my third fanfic and this time I don't have a rough draft so Im just winging it. Review please! Oh um this story is set after Korra and Asami leave to the spirirt world.

"So, she left on a vacation?" Katara asked as she drank more tea. Tenzin and his family had gone after the wedding to visit his mother and Kya. They were all gathered around the fire place in Katara's small home. Tenzin was concerned for Katara's health. She still had a good few years left before she passed but He still worried.

"Mother, how would you like to come back with us to Air Temple Island? We can convert Korra's old room into yours, and you can spend the days with Pema and the children or visit Aunt Toph." Tenzin said as he held Katara's old hand. Kya smiled. It had been a long time since her mother had done anything fun. She was always putting other people's needs before her and it would do well if she lived a little. But of course, Katara just smiled faintly and covered Tenzin's hand.

"Now you know I would enjoy to spend more time with my grandkids, but I just can't leave my duties here as the Village eldest. Plus I don't think I can travel anymore." Katara said with a sigh.

"What? Mom, no!" Kya said as she stood. "You had always taken care of us our whole life, now it's our turn to take care of you! Plus I am sure the village would do just fine! Go out and see the world mom, go and explore! Have fun like you did when you were young! Go have an adventure!"

Everyone stared at the excited Kya. Then something happened. Katara giggled. She giggled like if she was a young teenage girl. Tenzin and Kya's eyes soften at the sound of their mother's laughter. She hadn't laughed like that since their father had passed. After a few moments Katara got up and hugged Kya. She then turned to Tenzin.

"Alright, just give me a few minutes to pack my bag."

It was around nightfall when they arrived back to Republic city. Lin, Mako, and Bumi met them at the ships port.

"Great to see you mom!" Bumi said as he ran to hug his mother. Mako then gave Katara a small hug and stepped aside to let Katara walk towards Lin.

"Hello, Auntie Katara…" Lin said and she smiled warmly at the water bending master. "Great to see you sweetie." Katara said as she gathered Lin in her arms. They then made their way to the city.

"So mother, here is the room and you just get comfortable." Tenzin said as he laid Katara's bag by the bed. Katara was about to say thank you when a rumbling sound was heard. Suddenly, the front door was slammed open and in came a short green figure.

"T-Toph?" Katara said in disbelief. Toph grinned as her long bangs swayed in front of her wrinkled features.

"The one and only, Sugar Queen!"

Cliff Hanger! I know it was incredibly short, but it is a multi-chaptered story. Like I said, I jumped into this without a life line so I am sorry for the lack of imagination. If you guys have an idea for the story, Review and tell me there!
