This idea was actually given to me by Heartless demon wolf, so thank you for that! This was kinda fun to write. I have much more robrae coming in the future, too! So, enjoy and review!

After Trigon's attack, it was normal to see Robin and Raven spending time together. More than ever, she found herself seeking out Robin's comfort. He had been there since the very start, and they hadn't stopped being so close since Raven had defeated her father. Often times, the empath found herself within the comfort of Robin at the most spontaneous moments. She couldn't count all the nights spent, where all she could think of was her father, keeping her up to the wee hours of the morning. Nightmares of him, nightmares of Slade, nightmares of destroying the world in Trigon's aid, of destroying her friends-of destroying Robin. Robin was always the one to hold her, and allow her to ramble about her fears, and she trusted him more than anyone. He knew her heart. And she knew his.

Yes, the nights were well spent.

But it didn't end there, no.

When the sun would rise, it became an ordinary thing for Raven and Robin to spend more time together-as friends, more than team mates. Beyond training practises and meetings, the pair would go out for the day in Jump City. Robin loved to show her around-he wanted her to be able to smile and have fun. Now that she was free of Trigon's influence, she could actually express her emotions. She could actually experience the fun of talking and enjoying one's prescence, or be able to feel at peace when Robin would bring her to libraries. New sensations filled her with the diner's they went to, for she felt as if she could actually enjoy the succelent taste of a burger and fries.

And along with these new emotions of joy, one thing stuck to her more than anything. Love.

She felt a longing for Robin that was odd... but a good kind of odd, never the less. She felt warm inside, whenever she was near him. Her smiles and laughter were sincere, and he made her heart thump with such passion. He made her head spin, and made her knees feel weak whenever he held her, or even so much as smiled as her. She was just lucky, and glad to be able to finally enjoy this newly renewed friendship, or even a love. She felt so free. So liberated.

One of their favorite things to do together was watch the sun rise.

Since the beginning of the 'end of the world', she had not forgotten the first time he had caught her watching the sun. It had been out of stress, of grief, and she had needed some relief-beileve it that Robin had made her feel more at ease, if only for a while. However, now that she was free, she didn't have to feel scared, and feel the need to look onto the sun in fear of never seeing it again. True indeed, before, she had never been much of a person, and if you bothered her before she had had her tea, you could beileve it that she would snap harshly.

But she had opened up, since then.

Now, when the two birds watched the sun rise, Raven would comfortably lean against Robin, as he held her close. And she would smile, because she knew that she was loved. In some form-she knew that Robin cared deeply for her. She could sense it through their bond, and even though neither of them ever acted upon anything, she was content of just staying the way they were. The way they understood eachother, how they didn't need to talk every second of the day for eachother to know they were loved-they shared a true bond, built on trust and comfort.

Today's sunrise felt different, today, however.

"Raven?"

The empath turned around, upon hearing her name. As usual, she had been watching the sunrise, and upon hearing the familiar voice, turned to see Robin holding the news paper. He looked rather confused, as he scratched the back of his neck. She just raised a brow.

"Robin?" She asked, as he took a seat next to her. He flipped through a few pages, until he landed on a column. It had a picture of the two Titans together-they were resting comfortanly against eachother under a big oak tree in the park, reading books amongst themselves, enjoying eachother's company. Above the picture, the heading stated, "Titans Raven and Robin found together-Is Love in the air?"

Raven felt her cheeks grow warm, the more she looked. Her eyes skimmed over the text, in which she deemed unworthy of much attention. Still, the picture of herself curled up next to Robin made her head spin, and the text didn't help. After the way she had been feeling for him recently, she didn't need any more confusion. She didn't need unwanted media getting in the way of their relationship, friendship or more, none the less.

She looked up to him, seeming to be in shock. He just grinned a little nervously. "Are you... okay with this?" He askec cautiously.

She shrugged, her eyes falling back on the picture. "There isn't much we can do about it, so I guess." She said nonchalantly.

It went quiet for a moment. The more Raven looked at the picture, she could feel warmth spreading through her body, and a smile came to her face. The picture looked fairly recent, but with the crumbles on the pages, she couldn't tell just how recent it was. She and Robin did so much together now, this could have been taken 4 months ago, or even two weeks ago. She looked back up at him for a moment, seeming hesitant to ask. "Is... this a recent article?" She inquired.

Robin shook his head, and sweat seemed to formulate on his head. He then pointed to the date, in the right corner-which dated back to three months ago. "I was going through the mail... and I guess this has been sitting around for a while, because I just noticed it this morning."

Raven quirked her lips to the side. Trigon's invasion hadn't been too long ago-she was surprised three months had passed by since then, so quickly! Her grin grew, until she was trying to hold back her laughter. "Ahh... so this wasn't too long after I had defeated Trigon, I guess." She sighed a little dreamily. So much had happend after that. Her friendship with Robin developed so much-she could remember the first night. She had been distraught-she had defeated her father, but she still feared that deep down, she still had some of his influence. They seemed to attract eachother like magnets, because they had saught out eachother within the living room. Robin held Raven, who was near tears, and he comforted her until she felt comfortable to go back to sleep in her own room. He even offered to stay the night with her!

"Crazy times, huh?" Robin laughes slightly. He gave her a sincere smile. "I'm glad you were able to over-come him, though. You seem so much happier now. I'm so proud-you're amazing, Raven." He complimented, putting a hand around her shoulder.

She smiled, reaching up to touch his hand. "You flatter me."

He shrugged. "I can only tell the truth, Rae."

How sweet he was. Raven could feel her heart flutter, just by the nickname he spoke to her with.

"You know... I'm really greatful that you stayed by my side." She inquired after a moment, brushing a strand of hair out of her face. "I really cared for you back then-I still do." At the confession, she found herself blushing.

Robin smiled. "I'm glad." It went quiet again, and Raven found herself leaning against Robin, comfortably melting into his warmth.

Quiet as it was, Raven could sense through their bond, something was troubling him. His thoughts ran rampend, so much so she could barely see straight for a moment. Nervousness, even a slight tingle of stress, and then relief as he let out a deep sigh, looking down to her. "Raven..."

She quickly looked up to him, to see him looking unsure of himself. His cheeks were dusted with blush, as he briefly looked away. "Would you... like to go out for dinner, tonight?"

She raised a brow. "Burgers and fries again? I don't think I-" "No," He cut her off, grinning.

"Like... an actual dinner. At a fancy restaurant." He inquired, and Raven paused, seeming to be shocked. This is what he was so nervous about? She couldn't understand why-she paused again, sensing a calm, mellow feeling within their bond. Happiness-and even love. No, this wouldn't be their normal slice of pizza date-this was more. More than what friends would do-more intimate.

Her eyes widened. "So... like... a date?" She wondered, and Robin burst into a flustered expression.

"Well, I mean-yeah, I guess-you could technically call it that... but don't feel pressured! If-if you don't want to, we don't have to-I tottally understand-" Robin's studdering was cut off by Raven's laughter. She shook her head, but a smile was laced on her face. "Relax," She stated, turning towards him to place a hand on his cheek.

She had never seen him this nervous before-it was rather endearing. "I would love too." She stated.

It seemed to take a moment for this to register within Robin's mind. After a moment, he spoke out. "You... you want to...?"

Raven raised a brow. "Why is that so hard to beileve?" She challenged.

Robin shook his head. "It isn't! I'm thrilled-over-joyed-wow, I just," He rambled on, and Raven laughed.

"You don't need to worry so much, Robin. You know I love spending time with you." Raven re-assured.

Robin stopped for a moment, and he smiled dreamily. "And I to you."

Raven smiled back, and in that moment, she inched herself closer to the boy wonder, resting her head in the curve of his shoulder. He paused-but then took her into his arms, wrapping his arms around her body to hold her close.

This was much more intimate than their normal sunrise watch.

No, this was no longer a thing shared between two friends. Raven could sense this meant more. And even if they didn't exchange formal kisses and "I love you's" Raven could tell he did feel something more that stretched the boundries of a friendship for her.

In this moment, Raven couldn't have been any happier.
