Sonic and Shadow: Hedgehog Alliance
Note: This is the first chapter of the Sonic and Shadow series. Also, this takes place two months after Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity.
Chapter 1: Rescued
"It's gotta be somewhere around here," Shadow said as he and Sonic searched the abandoned MeteoTech building.
"Why would there be a Chaos Emerald in this abandoned factory, Shadow?" Sonic asked. "But then again, it could be."
"Can you please be quiet?" Shadow complained. "I'm trying to…crud. The elevator's on Floor 300 and we're on Floor 1."
"That's not good," Sonic agreed. "Plus, some of the security cameras are still working."
"I know, Sonic," Shadow groaned. "I know."
"I'm saying we better hurry," Sonic explained. "The camera can catch us any second now."
"Yeah right," Shadow chuckled.
INTRUDER ALERT! INTRUDER ALERT! TWO HEDGEHOG INVADERS IN METEOTECH FACTORY!
"Oops," Shadow thought.
"Let's get out of here!" Sonic yelled as the two hedgehogs ran for the door. Then two white robots flew right in front of the door.
"They're still activated?!" Shadow gasped.
"Wow!" Sonic exclaimed. "I never knew that!"
"Uh, Sonic," Shadow whispered. "We've got company." Sonic turned around, and saw a bunch of robots surrounding them. They couldn't go anywhere!
"Nice knowing you, buddy," Sonic said in a worried voice.
"Buddy?!" Shadow yelled, shocked. "You calling me buddy?!" The robots were about to shoot them until…
BAM!
Some of the robots fell down to the ground and blew up. A figure punched all of the robots at supersonic speed, faster than Sonic! Then each one blew up.
"What happened?" Sonic asked. Before Shadow could answer, the figures stepped out of the darkness. They were five hedgehogs. None of them looked familiar, except for the white one on the far right. It was their friend, Silver the Hedgehog.
"Silver," Sonic asked. "Who are these hedgehogs?"
"They're my partners," Silver explained. "We're all members of the Hedgehog Alliance."
