A cool breeze swept over Densan City as everyone slept soundly. The air held a calmness that almost seemed unbreakable. The Hikari house-hold held equal calm, with each member deep within a dream. Not a sound was herd as two dimensional converters rose and covered the inside of the house.

A single Navi logged into the area, their dark purple colour blending them in with the shadows. They adorned an emblem similar to the house-holds they had intruded, with black dividing blue instead of red. Their shaded red eyes gazed around, before holding on an upstairs door.

Dark Rockman moved silently up the stairs and towards the door, moving inside and closing the door behind himself. After taking a few moments to adjust to the rooms lighting, he moved towards the computer desk to his right. Carefully he coved the PET that was docked and in sleep mode. He then turned to the sleeping boy, watching as he breathed.

"Humans... Weak... Fragile. Why would Navi's rely on such pitiful things? Made of flesh and bone, I could most likely snap a limb with my bare hands. Hard to see how humans can foil such grand plans. What filth."

The dark Navi glanced around the room.

"A single shot from my buster, a single slash from my sword, I could end a life in an instant. Yet they all get in the way. These Navi's that believe they're doing the 'good thing', helping these humans. If only they could see how useless they are..."

Dark Rockman took a seat on the end of the net saviour's bed, resting his chin on his hand and tilting his head, as if to get a better view of the sleeping boys face.

"I could always just cut them up when they least expect it. Just to hear them scream in agony as their life ends, maybe it'd even alert other weak things so then they could come along to watch the spectacle of them bleeding to death."

He chuckled at the thought, but then became solemn again.

"Then of cause there'd be no grantee of death, humans can be annoyingly resourceful. The connection they hold with each other. That's what seems to keep them moving. Friends, Family... Their reaction to the lost of one human can be catastrophic. What would the loss drive them to do?"

He continued to stare, tapping his cheek with his finger. The boy lay with his arms out to the side, a pillow pushed up against the wall after much rolling about.

Keeping an emotionless face he slowly edged towards the boy, being careful not to make any sudden movements. Moving till he was practically on top of the boy, he stared hard into the peaceful face below. Almost nose to nose, he wondered how the boy could sleep so calmly, when death was practically staring him in the face. Did the dreams of mundane activities hold such content?

He pulled back and looked to his left, at the discarded pillow. Gently he picked it up, moving it above the boys face, and pushed down.

The boy did not stir as the dark Navi held the pillow firmly down for several long minutes. Finally the boys chest stopped rising, and the Navi pulled the pillow away. The boys face was still peaceful, but now no longer showed any sign of life.

Dark Rockman sat over the boy for a long time. Finally, when the sun began to rise, he lowered his head and moved away.

"Humans...They die...so easily..."

He logged out, and the dimensional area shut down.

"Good night, dear light."
