It's May already and I worked the case with him tonight, it was just the two of us. I haven't told him yet, about my news. I should as it concerns him to. I should tell him now really … I'll come back to you with what he says

Sara.

I silently walk across my living room finding my shoes, I have decided that it is time that he knew, once I have slipped them on, I grab my keys and I am out the door, 20 minuets later I am sat outside his house, he's up I see a light on.

Before I can turn back I jump out of the Denial and walk up to his door, before I register what I am doing I have knocked on the door, I turn to walk away. "Sara?" he asked.

"Sorry, I shouldn't have knocked, I'm going," I say before I can go further he has hold of my arm.

"You came here for a reason?" I nod my head. "Well come in then," slowly he turns me around and I melt again, he drives me crazy, that's why I love him, and he knows it.

We walk into the apartment, he goes to the kitchen after telling me to take a seat. He comes back with drinks on tray, "What would you like? Scotch, Coffee, Tea?"

"Do you have water?" I ask lamely. He goes into the kitchen and comes back with a cold bottle of water. I smile at him. He then sits beside me.

"You needed to see me?"

"No," I shake my head. "Yes, I mean that's why I'm here."

"OK, what about?"

"Do you remember the conference 2 months ago?"

"Yes, I gave a lecture at it, and you from the team came to sit it," he said nodding his head.

"Do you remember what happened that night?"

"As in what I did to you?" he hung his head.

I'm now confused I consented that night why would he blame himself, "I consented Grissom."

He looks at me, "I took advantage," he whispers.

"NO," I shake my head. "If anything Griss I took advantage, I was the one who took you to the bar, I was the one to kiss you first, I was the one who wanted it."

"No Sara, I wanted it, you didn't," his head dropped again.

"Grissom, I am not here about who wanted what but I can tell you, you were my first and it was amazing, I just wish you stayed the night."

His head shot up, "you're first? Christ Sara, why didn't you say?"

"Will you now listen without interrupting me?" he nodded, I continue. "That night, was the best night I have ever had, it took me ages to get you there in the first place, and you were going to take Nick or Greg. I had this plan, but it failed, I wanted to get you drunk then if I had one night I could cope.

But Grissom, one night was enough, because I am going to be reminded of you for the rest of my life…"

"What do you mean? Did I give you something?"

"No you never technically gave me anything, well yes you did but it's not life threatening, it means I have to stop going out on the field, and I will need time off when it's nearer the time," I looked at him, he looked confused. I grabbed his hand for him to look at me so I can continue, "I'm pregnant Grissom, and before you say anything, I'm keeping it."

He's lost for words, he didn't expect that one, oh my I have really put my foot in it this time, "pregnant?" I cannot speak now so I nod my head. Slowly he leans over to me and gives me a hug, I cannot speak, its weird I expected him to shout. "Sara, we really need to talk about that night."

"I agree, but you need to understand your going to be a dad."
