Kurama and Bianei Meet

"Only four more years. Only four more years." a young woman with black hair that reached halfway down her back repeated under her breath to herself over and over again as she walked across the college campus. It was her first day and she was a bit nervous, well more irritated than nervous. She had planned on leaving the Ningenkai after high school to visit her father in the Makai. Her mother had insisted on her attending college though, so here she was, lost at some college she had no desire to be going to. 'Why can't I have two normal human parents?'

After wandering around for nearly twenty minutes and still having no idea where her first class was, she started to panic. 'I have no idea where my class is and it's about to start any minute. I can't be late for the for the first class of the year!'

She was so preoccupied by her current dilemma she ran right into another student.

"I'm sorry. I should have been watching where I was going." she apologized.

"It quite alright. I'm partially to blame as well. It's my first day and I am finding myself a bit disoriented." the other student, who happened to be a gorgeous young man with long red hair, apologized as well.

"I'm Bianei. It's my first day too." she said with a smile. 'Maybe this college thing won't be so bad after all.'

The young man smiled back. "I'm Suuichi but you may call me Kurama."

"Okay Kurama since we are both lost would you like to walk around with me until one or both of us find our classes?" Bianei asked, hoping not to loose the best reason she found to stay in the Ningenkai in years.

"That sounds reasonable." Kurama started walking and Bianei walked beside him.

Finally less than thirty seconds before her class was scheduled to start, Bianei spotted her classroom.

"There's my class." Bianei said with a bit more enthusiasm than was necessary. 'Now I won't be late to class! But I have to leave Kurama. Okay I'm officially back to hating college.'

"This is my class as well. It's a relief to know I've already met one of my classmates." Kurama commented and they both went into the classroom.

Bianei smiled as she took her seat. She would not have to forget about Kurama and his red hair after all.

The class was completely forgotten by Bianei as she allowed her mind to daydream about Kurama and what their relationship might be someday in the future. 'Those green eyes of his have so many secrets hidden in them. I wonder if I'll ever really know him.' For the rest of the class she let her mind wander not caring where it took her but somehow she always came back to him. At the end of the class she finally pulled herself from her daydreams. 'I'm such an idiot. Here I am in college and I start acting like a stupid junior high school girl. I have to stop thinking about him.'

She went to her next class. Once there she was shocked and also overjoyed to see she shared another class with Kurama. She sighed. 'It looks like I'm not getting any work done this year.'
