Pit sat in Viridi's temple, with some of her "children" nearby, reminiscing about the times they've had together on his adventure.
"Viridi, can you believe it's been three years since we first met? Well, it was three years for you… I was unconscious inside of a ring, so for me, it's only been about a week. What'd you do during those three years?"
"I fought against the Underworld Army and Palutena's Army. What do you think?" Viridi replied.
"Did you miss me while I was gone?" Pit asked.
"Maybe just a little. You might be a dweeb, but I have to admit, my life is more… interesting with you around." Viridi replied.
"Same here. You might insult me a lot, but you can be pretty fun to have around. I like Lady Palutena and all, but it's not easy being the Captain of her Guard. The Centurions mean well, but they're… ineffective to say the least. And it can get pretty boring just sitting aroud in Skyworld. Maybe I can get Lady Palutena to give me some time off and go exploring with Phos & Lux. How about you, Viridi? What are you planning on doing?" Pit asked.
"I might rebuild my Reset Bomb Depot." Viridi answered.
"You're not going to use them on the humans again, are you?" Pit asked, worried.
"Not unless they do something stupid like that war over the Wish Seed again. Which they probably will." Viridi answered.
"Well, can we be friends until then?" Pit asked.
"I don't see why not." Viridi answered.
"So, what's the first thing we should do as friends?" Pit asked.
"Wanna play Super Smash Bros. Brawl?" Viridi asked.
"You bet!" Pit replied. "I call Mario!" Pit exclaimed.
"I call Kirby!" Viridi exclaimed.
And thus began a friendship that would last as long as humans didn't cause a lot of trouble.
…Not exactly the most secure friendship, but if you're going to sit around doing nothing until Nintendo decides to make another Kid Icarus game, which could end up being decades, especially since Sakurai said he won't make a sequel to Uprising, you might as well sit around doing nothing with a friend.
Just something I put together because I was bored.
Trivia: Viridi using Kirby is a reference to the fact that her Japanese voice actress, Makiko Ohmoto, is also the voice actress of Kirby, another of Sakurai's creations.
Her English voice actress is Hynden Walch, best known for her roles as Starfire in Teen Titans, Princess Bubblegum in Adventure Time, and Nia in Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (at least in episodes 9-15, before she was replaced by Bridget Hoffman).
