A/N: Hey. This is my first story under the fairytale section. I have just recently discovered it, actually, and I like it very much. So, much that a little story just went Pop! into my head. So, I hope you enjoy this!

Alexandria - formally known as Alex - was young and in love. Just at the age of 22 and she was about to be married. Her fiance - Josh - was a lovely gentleman whom she had met at a fine restaurant on accident. Their orders were mixed around and it was love at first sight. They exchanged numbers, talked often over the phone, contacted through e-mail several times a day, spent countless hours roaming the paths of the park downtown, and enjoyed each other's company to the fullest. It had been 13 months when she had just graduated from university, soon to be at law school - him being 26 and having a nice job at a law firm, she was able to obtain a job as a secretary there. She worked hours and hours with and for him, loving every bit of it. A month later, Josh proposed. It was the fairytale proposal. The nice bouquet of red roses at a chic, French restaurant, a dash of old spice to leave her basking in his lovely aroma, and, of course, the ring - dawned in a lovely box that matched the color of the roses and her dress - held a large diamond and was white gold - her favorite. Everything was going the exact way she imagined it to be as a child.

Now, two days before her wedding, she was absolutely sure that nothing could knock her off her high horse. Nothing, of course, besides what she was faced with upon returning home from the catering place.

Alex unlocked the door swiftly and pushed open the door, looking into the hotel room that was rented for them to stay at until the wedding and honeymoon was over. She set down her purse on the marble, kitchen counter - what a lovely hotel room it was.

"Josh? I'm back, honey," she smiled brightly, looking around the living room to find him. She continued down the long hallway to find a light emitting from underneath their master suite door. A strange noise was coming from the room, causing a look of confusion to cover Alex's face.

"Josh?" Alex repeated again, opening the door and suddenly wishing she hadn't. Alex gasped at the sight.

Riding upon Josh's hips, was her own mother - his soon-to-be mother-in-law. Her head was thrown back to see who had walked in on them. Josh quickly looked around Margoux's slender body, to see Alex's appalled face. He quickly shoved Margoux off of him and stood up, dragging the sheet around his waist to her.

"Alex!" he said, voice reaching higher than she had ever heard. "What are you doing here?" he asked stupidly. What was she doing here? What was she doing here?! What in hell was her mother doing here?! She wanted to yell at him, but she couldn't move, couldn't speak. She could only move her eyes from her mother - who was scrambling to the master bathroom - to her so-called-fiance.

Josh smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his head. "I guess we need to talk," he said. Alex was knocked out of her trance and deathly glared at him.

"Fuck you," she said, turned, and stalked off to the kitchen. She furiously grabbed her purse and headed out of the hotel room door, slamming it hard behind. She hoped that lame painting that was hanging on the wall in the living had fallen off and was messed up.
