Disclaimer: I don't own Pokemon Special, otherwise the Pokedex holders would be called the Drechenaux. Anyway, this story takes place before Black & White, so they won't be included.

So, one fine day the Drechenaux (what I call the Pokedex Holders, pronounced Dreh-ch-nox) were gathered at Gold's house for reasons only they know. After a while, they got bored and went outside, but they left there starter Pokemon inside.

"Let's put them out of their Poke Balls." Gold suggested.

"I don't think that's a good idea." Silver said.

"Why?" Gold asked. "What are they going to do, invite wild Pokemon, throw a party and mess up the house?" He said, laughing. They all released their starter pokemon, the other ones they were going to use exploring. While they were there, their Pokemon just stared at them and didn't move. The moment they left and they heard the door slam, however...

Five Minutes Later

Gold's Typhlosion said in Pokemon talk. "This is getting boring. Let's do something else."

"What do you want to do?" Red's Venasaur asked. He looked around and said, "Anyway, where's Blue's Blastoise?"

"She's applying her make-up." Green's Charizard said.

Everyone just stared at him.

"Make-up?" Crystal's Meganium said. "That seems a bit, well, odd, you know, as her trainer isn't like that."

"Anyway, at least it's better than what he keeps doing." Charizard said, poking Venasaur with his tail.

"That's it." Venausaur said angrily. "I've had enough of you. It's time we settle this."

"Fine then. The normal way, then?" Charizard said, and Venasaur nodded. They both backed away to leave some space in the room.

All of the other Pokemon just stared at them. Typhlosion looked excited, and so did Blaziken and Feraligator.

"This is going to be good. I hope they knock each other out." Sceptile said excitedly. The two of them stared right into each other's high, with rage in both eyes. Then, they both made a stance, and then Venasaur and Charizard began shaking their vines and fist respectedly. No one understood at first what they were doing, but they stopped two seconds later.

"Hah! Scissors cuts paper! I win!" Charizard shouted. It took two seconds for the others to understand.

"Rock-paper-scissors!" Yellow's Pikachu exclaimed. "That's what you guys are doing."

"Yes, it's how we settle all of our disputes." Charizard said as if the rest of them should have known.

"Lame." Typhlosion said. "I think that's what my trainer would have said, but I don't really know the meaning of it."

By then, Blastoise had come back.

"How do I look now?" She asked. She was just like she was before. Charizard was about to point this out before Venasaur stepped on his foot.

"Lovely." Venasuar said. "Why don't we do something else now?"

"I have an idea." Swampert said. "Let's invite wild Pokemon over and break things like they do so in that box that our trainers watch sometimes, you know, telebision or whatever."

"Why?" Blaziken asked.

"No idea." Swamper said.

"Let's imitate our trainers." Typhlosion said, and said in a ridiculously high-pitched voice, "Look everyone! I'm Gold! I'm a fusion of Brock's infatuation and Ash's poor battling skills! I need to stop watching the Pokemon Anime and copying what they do there!"

Everyone laughed, but no one really wanted to continue further.

"Let's jump rope." Venasaur said, to which the others readily agreed. The grass Pokemon always made up the ropes, and they were all jumping and singing, except for Feraligator.

"Kids." He said. "On second thought, Swampert's idea wasn't bad." The others stopped jumping rope and looked at him.

One Hour Later

The Drechenaux came back, and just as Gold opened the door to his house, it collapsed. Once the dust had settled, all they could see was their Pokemon and the tracks of some wild Pokemon.
