"With Time"
Once the river had been high,
Today it seems it has run dry.
You look up towards the sky,
Now there's no more tears to cry.
It happened so long ago,
Death shall be your invincible foe.
Your questions answered with a 'no,'
Much time has passed and so,
All forgot what happened then,
But the sadness just wells up again,
As you think of way back when,
That, and what could have been.
But a stranger now has come,
And who knows where they may be from.
Now add together for the sum,
Instead of one –two heartbeats now hum.
With enough time to spend,
Perhaps these wounds will mend.
Plus the help of this new friend,
Makes everything better towards the end.
A/N: O.O K...This hit me out of nowhere. I kinda like it. A little angst, a lot of drama, a hint of tragedy, and a dash of mystery. Not that bad, I guess. As always, please review and tell me what you think! I always enjoy hearing your views and opinions!
