As she walked out of the cave, the bones of her former crew turned to dust at her feet. The sunset was beautiful, against the horrors of the last hour. Her clothes,

tattered, torn, and nearly gone, clung to her skin with sweat and sea water. As she looked down at her feet, she saw the ring, shaped like a heart. Picking it up,

and putting it on, felt more like a relief then sadness. Seeing a shape on the horizon, she dove into the water and swam toward her ship. When she got close,

a rope was thrown down. She climbed up. As she took the helm of her empty ship, a breeze blew through her hair. She heard an airy voice through the spray.

"Capitan?" It asked quietly. She answered. "It is done."
