Have You Seen a Toad?
By George Weasley's Ear
Ron and Hermione were sitting alone in the Weasley's kitchen, making wedding plans. And Ron thought that, somehow, that was not how he wanted to spend his time.
'Merlin's pants, Hermione, this is boring', yawned Ron.
'Oh, really, Ronald, if wedding plans are so boring, I can plan the wedding by myself and you will be wearing your dress robes from the Yule Ball,' said Hermione waspishly, yet trying to keep from laughing.
This shut Ron up and they went back to planning. 'OK,' said Hermione. 'So we'll put this table here and that one over there.'
'Hermione,' asked Ron suddenly.
'Yes?' she replied.
'When did you start loving me?'
'Well, it was when we were on the Hogwarts Express for the first time. I think you had me from butter mellow,' answered Hermione.
'Hey! I remember that!' exclaimed Ron.
'You do?'
'Yeah, Sunshine, daisies, butter mellow. Turn this stupid, fat rat yellow!'
'Oh Ronald, you always did remember pointless things like that,' sighed Hermione.
'I did not', said Ron indignantly.
'Uh huh. Sure you didn't,' she teased.
The room was silent until Ron broke the silence.
'Hermione?'
Yes, dear?'
'You had me from have you seen a toad.'
