Just came back from holiday and practically the first thing I did was get onto my laptop and write a one-shot. This is for loki-laufeysons' Sibling Relationship Competition, and I got given Fred and Ron. No, there is no incest. Don't get the wrong idea. Reviews would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Fred stood and watched as his identical twin brother took his baby brother's hand in his own. Their flaming red hair glowed symmetrically and their freckles rampages across their skin.

"Go on then, Fred, don't stand about!" George called out. "Today, if you don't mind?"

Fred hesitantly raised his father's wand a fraction. He didn't want to do this.

"Remember, you have to concentrate," said George, smiling evilly at their helpless little brother. Ronald squirmed and whimpered under the tight grip on his hand. "This is an Unbreakable Vow we're talking about. In case you didn't catch on, it has to be unbreakable. Okay?"

Fred nodded vigorously. He didn't want to do this.

"Come on, Fred! Do you want a personal slave or what?"

No. "Yeah," said Fred.

"Then hurry up! Dad could come in at any minute."

He didn't want to do this. Fred deliberately let the wand slip through his fingers and onto the floor, to buy himself time.

"Honestly, you're such a butterfingers, Fred!" George complained as Fred ducked down to retrieve the wand – taking his time, of course. George suddenly froze and raised a ginger eyebrow. "Do you want to do this?"

He didn't want to do this. "I want to do this," said Fred when he had a stable hold in the handle of the wand. It felt alien in his hand. He felt the fierce pulse in his neck increase with anxiety when Ron stared up at him with curious blue eyes. He didn't know what he was getting himself into.

George stared at Fred sceptically, but didn't press the issue. "Go on then."

Fred gingerly raised his wand, but just as the dimly glowing tip touched George's and Ron's linked hands, the kitchen door burst open and their livid father stared down at the trio, his face boiling with fury.

"Living room. All of you," said their father.

"It was my fault. It was my idea. Don't punish them," said George.

"Fine," Mr Weasley hissed. "I'll speak to you first. Alone."

George grimaced, but tailed his father out of the kitchen with his booted feet scuffing the floor. When George was completely out of the door, Fred swooped down and scooped up his clueless brother into a soft hug, one that reminded him of hugging a feather pillow; with embroidery on it, as his brother's hair was very scratchy against his cheek.

"You have to be more careful, okay? You could have made a big mistake. If you want to do well in life, then you have to watch out."

Ron nodded and said in his shrill voice, "'Kay." He sounded like he was on helium, and it made Fred laugh.

"We never had this conversation, okay, kiddo?" he chuckled.

Ron grinned. "What conversation?"

Laughing, they left the kitchen.
