I'm the narrator and this is just the prologue:

(If you get this, then you have won. Congratulations.)

But we're not here for that. We're here for this. A few things before we get started.

* This is AU story where in Arnold and Helga never grew up with each other.

* This is based off the song "How to Be a Heartbreaker" by Marina and the Diamonds

* This is a full story. Usually I don't write those. Just song-fics. Going for it all here.

* This is my first attempt at writing a somewhat romantic comedy. Spare me please.

* This is rated T. Because of cursing. Lots and lots of f-bombs. If you are uncomfortable with them, please do not read this.

Here's your basic plot:

Helga is a struggling sports writer living in Hillwood, who only wants to write about sports. Mostly hockey and football. Problem is, her boss is a jerk who doesn't think she's "well-equipped" for a role as a hockey and football beat writer. (Meaning basically that she isn't a man. Well-equipped meaning having a penis.) She wants to people to have people enjoying her writing without having to change who she is. But when Helga's job is on the line, desperate times call for desperate measures. And she is convinced by her friend and roommate, the one and only Rhonda Wellington-Lloyd, a couple's therapist.

Rhonda is trying to break away from her father and mother's expectations... all while spending money on new shoes and new clothes. So far she is succeeding and is living a very happy life with her soon-to-be husband, Harold. She feels like a winner and on top of the world while planning her wedding. She is more than willing to write Helga's article.

But once the article is published, both Helga and Rhonda learn that it's not easy to be a heartbreaker.

Hope you enjoy!
