As the sunsets and the family moves below deck for dinner, everyone was thinking about the island their heading towards. Now, they wouldn't get this worked up about any old island, no this island their heading to is, The island of Time, and were commander Marco's birthplace. Nothing is known about the place, only that no matter what happens it's never attacked. Both pirates and marines fear to even set foot on the land, since its rumored that the island is where all life began and that the people of the island have the ability to let the gods know when humanity should be punished. The island is also known for being the first place ever to find a devil fruit and a person to be gifted with the abilities of demon cell mutation.
When the whitebeard crew first heard of the rumors, they instantly bombarded poor Marco with questions to which he would either ignore or reply
"don't bother asking any more questions because me, my family, brother nor my people will bother to answer them. so you might as well just give up."
What macro didn't know was the mistake he made when he brought up his family. the crew as expect decided to pout about macro not telling them anything. That is in till they thought back on what he said. That's when they all broke out with question such as
" wait brother"
" family"
" did you just say my people."
At that point macro knew he screwed himself over. so instead of dealing with his family he turned and want to bed only after he locked his door so nobody would come in and disturb him. He just wanted to focus on getting back home for the birth of his little sister, while making sure thatch and the others don't do anything stupid or insulting while their. Because what macro and his people have sworn to never tell is that all the rumors of their island are in fact 100% true, as well as the fact that the people of the island of time live longer lives, are able to feel their family members spirit were ever they are in the world along with many other gifts given to them. Macro and his father made it very clear that speaking of any of this to outsiders was punishable by means of death, they explained that it was to keep the safety of the people and the island its self. The people ultimately agree and thoughts who didn't were dealt with, thought it pain macro and his family as well as the people, it had to be done for the protection of the others.
Macro was so happy to see his home again and for his two families to meet. Whitebeard had been and gone to the island many times to make sure they were doing well and there was no trouble. Whitebeard claimed the island as his territory knowing no one would go against is rule or his power exceptionally macro as his first mate and second in command of the island. With that though macro drifted in to a peaceful sleep knowing when he awoke that they would be docking and things were sure to get interesting, exceptionally if his older brother was to be there.
