Right! Explanation time! I deleted this story so I could make some adjustment to make it easier to write. Once again, here we go!

A relatively quite morning was interrupted by the blaring of an alarm clock. The alarm clock belonged to the youngest member of the Fudo residence, Yusei Fudo. Being himself, he didn't even reach for the clock, so it continued to go off until his mother came in to finally get him out of his room.

"Yusei… Yusei sweetheart, it's time for you to get up and go to school." She said as she walked to the balcony doors and opened them, letting light into the dark room. Yusei, who had just poked his head out from underneath his covers, recoiled at the sudden brightness.

Yuko Fudo laughed as she walked out of her son's room.

" Don't forget, you have to take the bus this week because of the school's rules, and it's coming in ten minutes."

This got to Yusei's brain and he popped out of bed and into the bathroom to take a shower. After getting out, he raced around his room at top speed to get dressed and gather all his first day of school necessities.

Bolting down the stairs, he stopped at the kitchen table where his father, Hakase was already reading the newspaper.

He looked up as Yusei entered and greeted him. "Cutting it a little close on your first day back, aren't you?" He said with a slight smile on his face.

"I'll be fine dad," Yusei replied, looking at he man who he looked so much like. He glanced at the clock above the window and paled at the time. Gotta go dad, bye mom." He said, giving his mother a quick hug, then running to the door.

"Yusei,' His mother called.

"What?"

She threw him his bag. " Don't forget this." she said with a smile.

Yusei grinned. "Thanks!" He said, and then proceeded to run out the door to Duel Academy.

Yusei arrived at Duel Academy campus two minutes ahead of schedule to see his best friends waiting for him.

Crow, Kalin, Jack, Sherry and Akiza let out a smattering applause when they saw that they're friend had made it on time.

"Nice going Yusei," Crow said with his usual grin. "You actually made it on time this year."

"Yes," Sherry agreed with him. "Last year he didn't even make the first bell."

"Or the year before that." Akiza added in

"Or before that." Kalin had to join in the fun.

"Or any year before that. This is a Yusei Fudo first, I'd say." Jack supplied.

Yusei glared at his friends and shook his head. "Yeah. Thank for all the moral support you guys. It really helps….Who's that with Bruno?"

The group turned around at Yusei's question, and indeed right next to the last member of their group, was a girl that none of them had seen before.

She had midnight colored hair that went past her waist and bangs stopping an inch below her jaw. She looked around Akiza's height. As the pair drew level with them, the group saw that she had vivid jade green eyes that seemed to stare straight through you.

"Hey guys," Bruno said when the were within earshot. Everyone said hello and Yusei introduced himself to the girl with green eyes.

"Hello," He said politely, as his parent had taught him." I'm Yusei Fudo." He held out his hand for her to shake.

Her mouth quirked in a smirk as she shook his hand and met everyone's eyes with enough confidence to not appear cocky.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Phoenix Niwa." She replied.

Bruno stepped in."Hey guys! This is my younger sister Phoenixian Niwa."

Everyone stared at him until Crow and Kalin broke the silence, and spoke the thought that was on everyone's mind.

"YOU HAVE A SISTER?"
