Sakura opened the door to her house, where she found her mother washing the dishes under the warm water. She smiled brightly at her.

"Hey, Mom." She said, walking up to her and helping her.

"Hello, Sakura. A young man came by and dropped this letter off at our doorstep. Its for you." Her mother said, handing her the letter after she dried her hands.

"For... me?" Sakura asked, stunned as she took the letter and opened it. It read:

Dear Sakura,

Meet me at my house at 7:00. Don't be late.

Yours truly,

Sasuke Uchiha

"I can't believe it." Sakura said, holding the letter in shock. Heading into her room, she decided to get ready.

After several hours of preperation, Sakura was ready. She was wearing a bright pink powder dress, accented with pearls on it, with a sweet-heart neckline and off-the-shoulder sleeves. Her mother had pulled her hair up in curls and strands of pearls in her hair, with light make up on to accent her eyes and lips.

As they reached the Uchiha household, Sakura swallowed nervously and knocked on the door as Sasuke immediately opened it. The raven haired young man was wearing a white kimono with a black sash wrapped around his waist. He still wore his sandals from when he was with Orochimaru, though.

"You're here." He said, blushing a little when he noticed her.

Sakura smiled sweetly as he led her into the kitchen, where she saw a couple baked tomatoes, a large pot of won-ton soup, two glasses and a kettle of green tea sitting on the table.

"Did you make this for us?" She asked in awe, looking at him.

Sasuke nodded, sitting himself down at the table before Sakura joined him in silence.

After the two ate, Sasuke led Sakura to the place where he left her three years ago. She incidentally let go of his hand and walked to the bench.

"I remember this place." she said, sitting down on the bench.

"Yeah, its where I first left you alone after I called you annoying." He said, walking up to her.

Sakura felt her heart skip a beat. "What are y-" but she was caught off-guard when Sasuke crushed his lips against hers. She blinked in shock, but returned the favour by wrapping her arms around his neck, recapturing his lips again in the same kiss.

It wasn't for the love of light that the two met. It was meant for the love of darkness.
