DAY 1
It started out with a simple sneeze from a father of three. By the next day, it had spread to Sam. Stark immediately set up a bio-hazard containment unit and locked the pair inside. Surgical masks were issued. Some called Stark paranoid. How wrong we were.
DAY 2
Captain Rogers was chosen to enter the B.C.U and check the progress of the patients. As a result of the Serum, his body was immune to most germs, viruses, and miscellaneous microbes. Think about it, if you were a germ, would you want to attack Captain America?
DAY 3
We lost Bruce today. He entered the kitchen this morning with his arms wrapped around his trash can. He was escorted into Containment by the Captain. Having lost our only medically trained member, our morale is at an all time low.
DAY 4
Natasha succumbed sometime during the night. Our morning inspection of the infected found her curled up in one of the few remaining beds. The situation is dire as Director Fury has taken the Captain from us. He claims the situation outside is getting worse. Has he given any thought to ours?
DAY 5
The only survivors left are myself, Stark, and Scott. Fury has promised to send reinforcements. As Scott begins to complain of chills, Stark begins construction on a germ free safe-room. I fear it may be too late to save ourselves.
DAY 6
The much promised reinforcement has arrived. It's James Barnes. As I give him the general rundown of the situation, Stark develops a system that pumps 109 degree sanitizing solution into his panic room.
15 minutes later
Sanitizing Solution deemed a failure. Funny, but a failure. He is still tending his burns. James almost smiled.
DAY 7
I'm making my 14th gallon of soup, (I counted), when unexpected visitors arrive. It's Laura and the kids. The two eldest are infected. Their shepherded into the B.C.U. Laura explains that she just got over the infection. I think Iv found patient zero.
DAY 8
I'm starting to feel sorry for them. Stuck in a room with two sick kids. Thank God Nat's in there in case Bruce goes nuclear.
2 minutes later
He did. Just what we need, the Hulk. Infected.
Five minutes later
Lila taught the Hulk how to sing Teddy Bear Picnic. That kid is amazing.
DAY 9
Clint's temperature is normal. Stark still insist on putting him in quarantine for 24 hours. Hopefully the worst has passed us by. On a personal note, James and I spent most of the night talking, Laura says she thinks he likes me. What are we? 12?
DAY 9
Clint is well again. This is good news as we have been running low on supplies. He and Laura promise to stick around until everyone is passed the infection. I'm secretly relieved as I woke up today hurting all over.
...
From inside his panic-room, Tony sneezed. Wanda pressed her fingertips to her pounding temples. "Not again." She mentally moaned.
