Evan could feel his palms start to sweat. He bit his lip and wiped his hands on his jeans, trying to calm the pit of anxiety in his stomach that threatened to take over him. Evan made a weak attempt at calm himself by taking deep breaths and walking around like his therapist told him to, but it didn't work and Evan could feel his vision blur as the anxiety swept over him.
He started to hyperventilate, feeling his chest tightening up. In the corner of his eye, Evan started to noticed people running outside to watch him as tears started streaming down his cheeks. He had a small hope that maybe someone would come over to him and ask if he was ok, but they just stared in silence. Suddenly, Evan's anxiety completely took over his body and he shook with sobs and panic. His attack just kept getting progressively worse until Evan thought he might pass out from all the hyperventilating. Around fifteen minutes had passed and everyone had gone inside the school as to not miss class, but Evan didn't have time to be relieved they were gone, or worried about missing his classes, because his attack was at it's strongest point. Evan collapsed on the sidewalk, just wanting the attack to be over as he struggled to keep his breathing under control.
Eventually, Evan's panic attack had started to die down, much to his relief, and he could stand up without being brought down by sobs. He stopped crying, although some tears still fell out of his eyes when he blinked. Though he was still having some trouble breathing, Evan made his way into the school bathroom where he splashed some water on his face and wiped his eyes with a couple of paper towels, trying to clear the redness out of them. When he finally looked halfway presentable, and his breathing was better, Evan walked down to class and managed to just barely survive his first day in high school.
Really bad. I know. But reviews are appreciated c:
