Summary- I think the title says enough.

"Mulder, what the hell is this? How many times do I have to tell you that your dirty laundry does not belong on the floor. Damn, I seem to have to do everything around here. Can't wait till the baby comes."

Dana Scully-Mulder, now seven months pregnant, picked up her husband's pants from the back of the chair and put them in the hamper before joining her husband in bed. She picked up her medical journal and began reading. Fox Mulder laid a hand on her belly.

" I'm sorry, sweetheart. I promise it won't happen again. How's your back?"

"Fine."

Mulder winced at her tone, knowing she was still mad at him.

"Baby, what's wrong?"

Scully sighed, closing her journal. "Nothing, Mulder."

She turned on her side, facing away from her husband.

"Oh no you don't. Something's wrong with you and I want to know what it is."

Scully turned sharply to face her husband. "You want to know what's wrong? You."

"Me? What for?"

"Mulder we are less than two months away from having a baby and you're still acting like one yourself. You leave laundry lying everywhere along with trash and dirty dishes, not to mention your damn sunflower seed shells. And damnmit I told you a month ago I wanted the nursery painted so I could start getting it ready, Mulder I swear it seems I'm going to have to do everything." Scully said angrily as the hormonal tears began to fall.

"I'm sorry, sweetheart. You're right. I've been under a lot of stress at work but that still gives me no excuse for slacking off. Tell you what, I'm off tomorrow so I'll paint the nursery and I'll start picking up around here."

"I'm sorry Mulder. I just…" she sighed "It's getting closer to my due date and I feel like I haven't gotten anything done. That and my hormones are still messed up."

"But that's not what's bothering you, I know it."

"I'm scared."

"Of what?"

"What do you mean 'of what'? Of birth, Mulder. I'm scared I won't be able to handle it."

"Dana, you're the toughest woman I know. You're going to do just fine and remember I'm going to be right next to you through the whole ordeal."

"Thanks, Mulder. I really needed to hear that." she smiled through her tears.

Mulder smiled. "Come here."

He pulled his wife to him and held her close as she cried.

"Damn hormones." he muttered.

Scully chuckled as she let the comfort of her husband lead her to dreamland.
