A single dewdrop falls
From a single stalwart spire
Unknown within a silent city
And the sun dips low
To cast trees and towers into twilight

Pulls up his hood to hide wet eyes
I don't know him
"I'll come with you."
I don't know why I say it
We walk down an empty street
Not knowing each other or what we're doing
But we're both a little less lonely
Whoever's behind that hood
I hope we find his friend.
