"You stubborn ass!" Vinnie growled.
"Maybe!" Modo snorted. "Fortunately, I'm not a selfish monkey!"
Vinnie cursed and walked away from the room.
"In you go!" Modo growled. "Take a couple of bananas with you!"
Vinnie snorted. He had another dispute with Modo.
It was no big thing. It all started some stupid things. He didn't even no longer remember the reason for it.
It was already evening and they had not spoken to each other anything since morning.
And Vinnie already miss him.
On his way to bedroom, Vinnie found the teddy mouse lying on the corridor.
Vinnie sighed and picked up the doll up and wiped it.
"Hmm ..", Vinnie muttered. "So he is angry with you, too?" He looked at the doll for a moment and went into the room.
Modo was sleeping.
Vinnie went to lie down on the bed and pressed the doll on to his chest and tried to fall asleep, but to no avail.
"Damn .." Vinnie cursed weakly and opened his eyes. He looked at Modo. Then he began to play with the doll on Modo's stomach. He moved a doll gently along Modo's body.
"Hey, it's me, Vinnie … I would like to apologize. Did not you love me anymore!" Vinnie spoke gently.
Modo blinked slightly, but not awakened.
"Wake up, wake up, big guy, I really would like to apologize", Vinnie grinned weakly when Modo blinked awake and looked at him in amazement.
"Hey ..", Vinnie moved the doll. "Wipe the sleep out and listen to me a moment."
Modo blinked again and stared at Vinnie.
Vinnie smiled weakly. "I know that .."
But he did not have time to say anything else when Modo pulled him closer and pulled the blanket over them.
Vinnie sighed weakly.
"It is forgotten and gone", Modo kissed him. "Thanks for bringing him back", he grabbed the doll and pressed it tenderly against Vinnie's chest. "I love it more than anything."
Vinnie blushed and closed his eyes.
"And I love you a lot more", Modo smiled sadly and kissed Vinnie. "Baby .."
Vinnie nestle closer to him. He did not have to say anything.
Modo was holding him gently. They fell asleep. Teddy mouse between them.
