Gabriella sighed in annoyance. She was getting tired of the incessant chatter that was heard in the library.
She shot off a quick glare at the three girls that were going on and on about a boy. It annoyed her. She had followed her sister here for the TriWizard tournament, she was assured that this was a top notch Witchcraft and Wizardry school. So why didn't the librarian stop those girls so she could read in peace?
It took another thirteen minutes before something made her move.
A boy, Gryffindor if his tie was to be believed, had dropped his books onto one of the girl's shoes. A short screech followed by loud shushing noises made Gabriella smirk. But the whispered verbal harassment made her stand and rush to the group.
"What the hell you piece of shit?" The girl hissed out. "That hurt you idiot. What happened? Tripped over your own feet? Clumsy Fool." She pulled her wand out.
"Need me to teach you a lesson? It'll take more then magic to help you." And Gabriella slipped between them.
"Don' even zink about it." She glared and pulled out her own wand. The girl and her friends looked around and saw the glaring figure of, who Gabriella guessed was, the Librarian looking right at them. The girls glared at Gabriella before turning and leaving the library. She would have to be careful about them later.
"Thanks." The boy shuffled in place before bending down to pick up his books.
"Ere, let me elp." Gabriella and the boy had the books picked up in seconds.
"My name ees Gabriella." She extended her hand.
"Dennis." They grinned before they started a conversation on the books that he had chosen.
Gabriella smiled as Denis showed her around Hogwarts. The two had gotten to know each other better over lunch, and now Dennis was showing her the sights.
"Oh, the love birds are on a date." The same girl from the library sneered as she and her friends stopped the kids in their tracks.
"What do you want?" Gabriella snapped, she wasn't really in the mood for the foul girl.
"Just to repay you for that performance in the library. What, you thought you'd get away with it?" The girl had a small smirk in place.
"So you thought to corner a 12 yearold out in the courtyard?" Gabriella raised an eyebrow. The girls friends snickered behind their hands. She shot a scathing look at them and they quieted.
"Look here brat. I am the top of the top, I am not going to be bested by some child from france who could go a year without her big sister. What, you were too much of a baby to stay by yourself at a big school? Did you hold her hand the whole time?" The girl went on in that fashion for a few more sentences.
"Leave her alone!" Dennis had enough. He stepped in front of Gabriella and pulled his wand.
"Or what?" She challenged.
"Puke Slugs!" A flash of light flew from his wand and hit the girl in the chest. It only took a second, before the first slug made it's way out of the girls mouth. Shouts of disgust were heard as the girls scattered. The main girl and her second rushed to the infirmary, leaving Dennis and Gabriella alone.
"Well, that was different." Gabriella blinked.
"Want to continue the tour?" And the two continued on and finished the tour without interruption.
