Sebastian and everyone are in the house protecting Lady Fae from an ambush. Sebastian blocks a window shoot coming into the study. Sebastian gets shoot in the heart badly. Faes eyes go wide and goes over to him. Sebastian coughs up the bullet like its no big deal, some blood comes up with it. He crushes it and the person who shot him instantly dies.
"Sebastian! Don't move please don't do anything let me take care of you." says Fae
"Hmm? I'll be fine, mi'lady" says Sebastian
"You were just shot! That's far from fine. Please Sebastian." says Fae
"There's really no need too. I promise I'll be fine." says Sebastian
"It's my fault that you ended up like this. Please Sebastian. Let me take care of you." says Fae
He sees the fire and stubbornness in her eyes, letting him know she won't back sighs and decides to let her take care of him until the wound heals on its own hopefully while she's not near. She sends him off to bed and takes care of him through out the day. He lets her play nurse and take care of him. She told him she insists because she's convinced it's her fault but in reality she's afraid he'll die. She has no clue a bullet won't kill her beloved. She's very gentle, finally later that night the wound heals on its own. Unfortanly it's in front of Fae, unlike what he wanted.
"W-where'd it go?" asks Fae
"It healed on it's own. My wounds do that, part of me being a demon. I tried to tell you earlier, doll." says Sebastian calmly
"They do? Then why did you let me take care of you?" asks Fae
"I found it sweet and enduring that you wanted to take care of me. Thank you. " says Sebastian, kissing her forehead.
"B-but I didn't know you were going to be okay." says Fae
"I'm sorry I worried you. I promise you bullets won't hurt me." says Sebastian
"...Really?" asks Fae
"Really" confirms Sebastian
"Okay " says Fae, Trusting him
"it's getting late how about we get some dinner and head to bed?" asks Sebastian
"That sounds wonderful" says Fae
So that's what they did and enjoyed the rest of the evening. They loved every minute of it and held hands cuddling in bed. The sweet drum of Sebastian's heartbeat helping drive Fae into a peaceful sleep.
