An Oblivious Christmas
Zexion
The superior had told me to decorate the Christmas Tree; I protested, saying that it was too lowly of a mission for one of the original Six, and to use Axel or something. He responded saying that I would be VIII if I didn't obey him; therefore I was obligated.
So here I am, decorating the Organization tree. Being almost finished, my mind starts to wander on what Kairi would like for the holidays. As I reached for the last decoration, I felt a tug at my ankle, then my world was upside-down.
Axel
I still haven't gotten anything for Kairi for Christmas... What would she want above all... I stopped in front of the mission room to see a strange site; Xigbar was heckling an upside-down Zexion, saying things like, "That's what you get for making me lose my eye... scar removal my..."
An idea came to me before Xigbar pulled out the paintball gun. "Yo, Xig," I called. He turns around pointing the gun at me, "Oh, its you," he points it at the ground, "So, what's up dude?"
I point at Zexion,"Can I have that for a little bit?"
He shrugs,"Sure, dude, but you owe me a demeaning mission that Mansex gives me."
I agree and cut Zexion down.
Zexion
I hung staring at the one-eyed mutant. He was cackling about a failed formula that I gave him for his scars, and it ended up turning his eye into a puree; well, he shouldn't have put any in there in the first place...
If my luck wasn't already bad, the flaming hedgehog came in and gawped at me, then started bartering with II about something. After a few moments Axel cut me down dragged me off...
Axel
I picked up Kairi when school had let her out. She asked me where Zexion was.
"He told me not to tell... but I'll tell you anyways," I wink, "He went out Christmas shopping." She looks at me dubiously, I almost worried that she had caught the lie, but then she gives me a dismissive shrug.
"Soo, what are we doing this evening?" she inquired.
"Mmm, I was thinking about heading over to Traverse Town, but its been getting bad lately, how's Hallow Bastion to you?"
She nods, "That sounds good to me, let's go." I opened a Portal and went through.
Kairi
Hallow Bastion was as bustling as usual. Axel and I went window shopping, he bought anything that took my fancy. Later, he took me to a cute little outdoor cafe. "So, what type of thing is Zexion getting for me?" I venture to ask.
"I'm not 'spossed to to tell," he replied. I gave him a little pout, "Aww, come on, not even a little hint?"
He snickered, "It's something that you'll really like." I give him a raspberry, "I know that you want to tell me more." Axel sighs, "We both got it for you, he's just kind of getting it ready for you." I look at him skeptically, "I thought that you said that he was out buying the gift." He raised up his hands in defeat, "You caught the lie." I pull on one of his hands, "Come on then," I coax, "Let's go, I want to open the present."
"Fiine," he forces a sigh, and opens a Portal.
We appear infront of Axel's bedroom door, "Go ahead," he says, "Open the door." I slowly turned the knob, slightly noting that it needed to be oiled, I then push it open. Sitting in the middle of the room is a for-the-most-part naked Zexion, hands tied with ribbon and mouth taped over with a name card saying "To Kairi, From Axel, with love."
